There were thousands of them and they were all trying to promise me so many things at once. A coldness came with it and I found myself falling for its seduction before an image of Zira popped into my mind. That was when I regained my senses and I remembered the task which I had at hand. Yet the surrounding doom didn’t have much effect on Mira who was wrapped in her husband’s embrace; her eyes rolled restlessly as she stubbornly refused to surrender to fate. “So you are saying… we cannot use both potions at the same time” Mira popped her head out of Jack’s embrace once again, her eyes shining brightly as her voice cut through the silence, like a beacon in the surrounding darkness “Then what about neutralizing one element using the potion and the other using an external source?” Zelda froze as she seriously considered the potential. “Th-that…” she stammered, her eyes lighting up briefly before dimming again. “Works in theory, but….”

Zaikai Zelda nodded her head a small frown formed as she looked over at Zayden and Laelia, Zayden had his normal bored expression on his face not showing any interest quietly confident that the trial was a bust. Laelia on the other hand had an evil smirk appear, intimidating Zelda as much as possible from where she stood bound in her chains. Zelda finally looked my way her broken expression crushing my heart, she thinks I put her through this for nothing, for only more danger to come to her.

Velda became rebellious believing that she wasn't allowed to be Alpha because she was female. However, on their 21st birthday, an opportunity was given for her battle for the title of Alpha of which she failed woefully.
