MIDNIGHT: Whispers from the Dark Sea

MIDNIGHT: Whispers from the Dark Sea

The kitchen was a risky choice and his barn was worse. He would have easily gone to the library if the kind Bridget was still a librarian. He usually spent all his free time there, reading books to ease his mind. Unfortunately, the new librarian couldn't stand him. She didn't even want him anywhere around the block. The only other place he could think of was the cliff and that meant sneaking out. He couldn't even remember the last time he visited the ocean. A feeling of dread came over him when he remembered the last time he tried sneaking out.

Dear Ex-Wife, You Are MINE!

Dear Ex-Wife, You Are MINE!

My sight became obscured, and ultimately, I was drawn into abyssal darkness. **** ALESSANDRO’S POV I landed in Paris when it was past midnight. The weather was cold in Paris compared to America at this time. Upon glancing at my wristwatch, I discovered that it was four o’clock in the morning, and it occurred to me that she might be fast asleep at this hour. Also, I appeared exhausted and disheveled, prompting me to opt for a hotel close to her location. I discovered she was staying a little out of the main city. Well, one thing I know about her is that she loves to stay peaceful and away from noise. Even though I have never been a good husband, I know it.

Only 1 chapter a day. That is way too slow.,, it would be better if there are at least 10 chapters a day... reading 1 chapter a day is so not satisfying. I hope author you increase the chapter updates per day since the story is good. Thank you.

I gave 5 stars so that the comment will be shown in the top . The story was good in the beginning and really liked it but after half way through it took a very disgusting turn with witches and unnatural things making it very disappointing to read further , definitely not worth the read.

Midnight Phantom

Midnight Phantom

A small piece of paper slipped underneath the rose and I went to pick it up, reading what was written on it. ‘Je suis désolé, ma lumière.’ My brows were immediately drawn to a tight knot, unable to comprehend what it means. I turned my attention outside the window. It was still open and the curtain fluttered against the soft gust of wind. I know he was already long gone, but I still have this gnawing feeling that he could be watching me somewhere from the distance. It was all too quiet and cold when all of a sudden a voice came forth. Almost sending me into cardiac arrest and my soul to depart from my physical body.

 WHERE SIN FEELS LIKE HOME

WHERE SIN FEELS LIKE HOME

The penthouse was quiet. I looked at Evander. He looked at me. Outside Paris had moved into the soft part of midnight, the part after the celebration, the part that was just the new year being itself without the announcement of it. The fireworks were done. The window showed a city settling. The room was warm and still and contained exactly two people who had an agreement that had failed repeatedly and a new year that had just started and nowhere in particular to be until tomorrow. "She'll be looked after," I said.

I love this story, the relationship between Brynn and Zella is a strong one. Cole and Dara will surely pay for what they did. I love how we get to see Zella being reckless all together with the drama that is happening. It's a good storyline over all

I'm obsessed with Brynn's character, she's not going to let her bestie drown because of a man and Cole is by far one of the worst men I've seen in my entire life. and as for Dara, I don't even want to start talking about her. that girl is a witch

The Heiress Returns: My Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

The Heiress Returns: My Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Completely unbothered in the way of someone who has done something deliberate and decided it doesn't require discussion. I let it go. Filed it. Went back to my notes. We got through the week's schedule in twenty minutes. Then the schedule ran out and neither of us immediately reached for the next item. Outside the window Paris was doing what it does at this hour — lights coming up, the sky going from grey to the blue that comes just before full dark. I could hear the city faintly through the glass. Everything in this room was quiet. He said: "Tell me about Lyon."

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Still, I’d run it by him first. The afternoon drifted by pleasantly. Paris lived up to its reputation as the gourmet capital of Europe. Fabrizio picked a restaurant with zero Michelin stars, and I still ended up going back for seconds. Okay, fine. Thirds. Plus two slices of cake. The mille-feuille alone could make a grown woman weep. Which explained why I asked Fabrizio to drop me off a few blocks from the hotel. That, of course, meant offering an awkward explanation for why I’d moved out of the lovely, work-adjacent house he’d set up for me and into a hotel.

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.

Midnight Howling

Midnight Howling

Damon quickly jumped onto the house's roof, and I went through the door. I was surprised because the inside of the house is big and quite old. I could see old things and smell the old smell that lingered in my nose. I turned around. The inside of the house is bright, and there are parts where the moonlight shines in. I wanted to call Ady's name, but I smelled something strange on the inside. It was full of feelings of regret, loneliness, and longing. There is noise inside the house. I saw Damon from above, and he jumped and fell right before me.

The Rejected Ex-mate secret Identity

The Rejected Ex-mate secret Identity

Yeah. It wasn't exactly a restless night, as I had expected it would be. I did actually sleep, and I dreamt of metal rods and mangled bodies. So, not so much as a restless night as it was a night filled with terrible dreams. So when I woke up the next morning, I was more than happy that night. And somewhere between my early morning run and breakfast, I decided it was time to pay Paris a visit. PARIS'S POV "Why the hell are you calling me this early in the morning? I said into my phone, my voice a groggy mess,

Midnight Whispers

Midnight Whispers

He wordlessly settled down on the sofa, “Once Emma arrives I’m leaving.” I closed my eyes, for the first time all night I let myself relax. Waking up I soon realized that I wasn't alone. Someone was sleeping next to me. I tensed snapping my eyes open. The morning light bled through the curtains casting a red hue throughout the room. Justin had stayed. His form slouched on the couch his breath even and asleep exactly where he was the night prior. Even now you could tell he was a warrior his well built frame half hidden by the cloak I had returned. Even still he was beautiful. I snapped my head around shaking the thoughts away facing Emma. Her short red curls fanned over her freckled cheeks li

The Butcher - A Mafia romance

The Butcher - A Mafia romance

Chapter 8 Bastien Two Years Later Paris was alive at all hours of the night, but she was the quietest at four in the morning, when even the night owls couldn’t keep their eyes open any longer. The line of SUVs pulled up outside the Louvre, close to the pyramid in the open square. Lights from the lampposts and the buildings were one of the reasons the city had been given its name, City of Light, and it was a name well earned.
