"MIDNIGHT'S MARK"

"MIDNIGHT'S MARK"

Pristine. "Scans show cities," the navigator reported. "But not like human cities. The structures are—organic. Living. Growing." "What lives there?" "I do not know. But there are millions of them. An entire civilization." New Dawn entered orbit. Damaged. Limping. Two engines dead. Life support barely functional. But alive. Still alive. "Landing coordinates received," the navigator said. "There is a city. They want us to land in the center." "That could be a trap. Landing in the middle of their population."

His Biggest Regret Was Me

His Biggest Regret Was Me

The lights of Galeries Lafayette gradually went dark as the clock struck two in the morning, leaving a cold silence stretching across the snow-covered streets of Paris. Inside the limousine gliding through the night toward her private mansion on the outskirts of the city, Elena leaned back against her seat. Her silver evening gown still clung elegantly to her body, yet the warmth of the celebration honoring her success had already evaporated without a trace.

Chapter 49 was uploaded twice. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. I didn't know how it happened. I've been uploading new chapters with my phone and I'm kinda not used to it. I've requested it to be deleted now. Again, sorry for the inconvenience

The book is well written and very interesting! However, keep in mind there is no happy ending for now. According to the author, there will be a sequel with a happy end, but it is still not in the app, hopefully soon. Personally, I can't wait about it.

Heartstrings

Heartstrings

A morning like this should be foggy, misty at the least, but in contrast to their mood it looked determined to be a story-book perfect day in Paris - only without any glances shared between them. Ever since the moment they arrived in Paris, Grace noticed a shift in Maverick’s mood. She tried not to glance his way as the driver approached a multi-storey hotel. la grâce. The red neon sign read as the car stopped. Maverick had surprised her with many things today. First his private jet and now his hotel in Paris. She knew he was rich, but now she was pondering if he was a billionaire. Maverick opened the door and with his long legs, he stepped outside. Grace gulped scrambling over to his side a

Midnight, the Half-Wolf

Midnight, the Half-Wolf

And I walk to the door but before I open it I dim the light to set the mood more sensually. "Password?" I ask, sticking out only one side of my face. Midnight has wet hair and looks excited as she answers, "Vendetta," "Come in, Miss. Welcome to your love nest." Midnight enters looking almost as uncomfortable as Baxter, but almost as excited as I am. A strange mix. I close the door and clear my throat as she walks over to the board and admires my work. "This is..." she tries to hide it but I can see she doesn't quite understand what's in front of her eyes, "Nice."

Murderer

Murderer

Anubhav, pushed the conflicting emotions away and allowed the excitement to drench his soul like the first summer drizzle. He sent the following message. Sure. When and where? The reply did not come at once. He obsessively hit the refresh button every five seconds but nothing happened. He could not help but feel jealous of the romantics who lived in the pre-electronic era. No emails, no messengers, no tensions. And, then suddenly he heard the beep. 7 pm. Pont de l’Alma railway station. Sure, I will be there. Anubhav replied. Michael Simkins once said, ‘Paris is a place in which we can forget

Chasing My Innocent Ex-wife Back

Chasing My Innocent Ex-wife Back

Forced a smile that didn’t belong on my face. “Just...old messages.” He didn’t push, and I was grateful for that. But I couldn’t meet his eyes. Because all I could think was: What kind of person falls apart over one man while sitting across from another? *** Paris was every bit as magical as I’d imagined. As soon as we stepped out of our taxi at the hotel, the air was filled with the enticing aroma of fresh-baked croissants and hot chocolate. The summer weather was unexpectedly cool and romantic, like something straight from a painting.

The Door at Midnight

The Door at Midnight

"Is that really you? I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me!" I frowned a little when I heard how friendly he sounded. The man was dressed in a sleek black coat that came down to his calves. He had full eyebrows, a straight, tall nose, and there was a handsome freshness about him that I could not quite put into words. Even though it was the middle of winter, he did not look all puffy. His wrist showed off a pretty silver watch. I knew that watch brand. Two years back, when Shirley came home from abroad, she gave a Patek Philippe watch to Matthew.

Just for two weeks

Just for two weeks

Davis Jimmy, after staying away for so long in pursuit of his own ambition, and living his life as a Serene young professor at Harvard, passionate about arts and history finally found himself in an unexpected turbulence of an anagram, a granddaughter, paintings and the French Police in Paris on a single night that changed his entire life. Jimmy awoke slowly, a telephone running in the darkness - a tiny, unfamiliar ring. He fumbled for the bedside lamp and turned it on. Squinting at his surroundings he saw a plush Renaissance bedroom with Louis XVI furniture, hand-frescoed walls, and a colossal mahogany four-poster bed. Where the hell am I? The Jacquard bathrobe hanging on his bedpost bore th

THE MIDNIGHT HOWL

THE MIDNIGHT HOWL

", Portia said as the dark mist disappeared. I ran to the gate and rushed in before it closes up, I ran to the room and covered myself up on my bed, drifting into sleep almost immediately. //////////////////////////////////////////// POV(ANASTASIA), I opened my eyes slowly and stretched as I yawned loudly, it's happening, finally, the warriors night, and I got a lot of work to do unless I'm running away, but it's not happening, I probably have to work hard. I should dream less and think more, I should learn to live the way I am, it's probably best that way.
