Midnight Queen Weakness Novels & Stories

We always were when it came to protecting what was ours. "Nobody touches our Queen's womb," Ronan growled, his voice low and deadly. "Nobody. You even look at her wrong, and I'll put a bullet through your skull so fast your gods won't have time to catch your soul." The Apex Queen laughed, and the sound was like nails scraping against glass. "Your Queen? You mean the weak little thing cowering behind you?" She tilted her head, studying Lilith with predatory interest. "I can smell her exhaustion. The labor drained her. She's barely holding onto her Titan magic." Her smile widened. "This is going to be so much easier than I thought."

"Just... less guarded. The Emperor will keep his elite guard, the Crimson Legion, at the spire. And he has the Queen." A silence fell over the room at the mention of the Queen. "The Queen is the variable," Tristan said, looking at Saoirse. "She is a walking fortress. Conventional weapons won't scratch her. And magic..." "Magic feeds her," Saoirse said quietly. "If I use fire, she absorbs it. If you use the Void..." "She might absorb me," Tristan admitted. "Or I might overload her. It’s a gamble." "We don't gamble with the Queen," Vane said. "We neutralize her."

"The queen carries life, but it makes her vulnerable, she is unbalanced." I leaned back on my throne, my fingers steepled before me. "Yes," I whispered, a sly smile spreading across my face. "The child is both her strength and her weakness and I will exploit it."The shadows whirled around me, bolstering my strength and confidence, but there was another issue that needed my focus. "The boy," the shadows hissed. He resists, His wolf is really strong. Ah, Aaron. The wolf with the cursed blood.

**Evelina’s POV** As the dark energy hurtled straight to me, I dodged the dark queen’s attack just in time, realizing that I still did not have my magic. My power had been stripped away like a stolen breath, leaving me hollow—vulnerable. The dark queen knew it. She could sense the weakness in me, and it only made her more confident, more sure of herself. She was certain I would fall before her dark touch. Even I was certain.

He replied, then tried his best to aim the weapon at Drake. Emily releases the king and queen. She was panting and sweating. Her defense slowly weakens as the moon starts to disappear from the clouds. "Release my son," she said, her voice dangerous. "Slowly, you will be going to die, future queen," the rouge’s prince spat. The king and queen were coughing, hardly breathing, while flashing a playful smirk. "T-The power of the moon goddess wasn’t enough for you to be strong." The king stated, "You are still weak, Luna."

she chuckled playing the obsidian bracelet on her wrist. “ And what is their weakness?” The leader asked. “ The Queen is their only weakness. Kill the Queen and you will have the king on his knees but there is no way, you can harm the Queen while the King remains in the palace. His Oath is bound to protect her no matter what” She stopped playing with the bracelet and stood up, facing the leader once again. “You need to declare war on Nayak right now, That way, the king will lead the war and his Queen will be left unprotected”

My blood was everywhere now, mixing with the blood already soaking the courtyard stones. The curse flared with each wound, making my vision swim. I could feel myself weakening, feel the poison spreading through my veins faster and faster. Between the severed mate bond and this fight, my body was shutting down. "The Queen told me everything," Selene said, pressing her advantage. "She showed me everything that happened that day. That being firstborn does not matter. Being female does not matter. Only power matters. And I have more than enough power to defeat you." She was winning. I could barely keep up with her attacks, all my body was screaming in pain. But I didn’t want to fight her.

“But there’s one last piece you need before the ritual can finish. The maid’s badge. Your mom hid it inside the east wing, under the loose floorboard in the old maid quarters. Small silver pin. Queen’s seal on the front, drop of her blood sealed in the back. It’s the final anchor. Without it the awakening either fizzles or tears you apart from the inside.” I stared at him. “So where exactly?” “Deserted royal stronghold. You have to get it before the ceremony. His scouts are already sniffing around those grounds. If they find it first,” Caius cut in. “Hold up. The deserted royal stronghold? That place is cursed. I’ve seen the old pack reports, people go in and either come out insane, clawing

His wolf snapped behind his eyes, but he said nothing. I stepped forward, into the firelight, letting it paint my scars, the marks of battles survived, bloodlines defended. “You look at me and see only a mate at her side. But the Goddess does not bind a queen to weakness. She binds her to strength. To balance. To a blade as sharp as her fire.” The silence stretched, taut as a bowstring. Then I tilted my head, just enough for my words to cut deeper. “Would you truly have your queen stand alone?”

She giggled at the end. “I got into your head so I could fully see your dreams and explain them better to you. You have been having these awful nightmares because you are yet to accept who you are. You have chosen to hurt yourself believing that your father's death was caused by you. That is NOT true. You are blessed with a gift directly given to you by the Moon goddess. It is a gift that will enable you to control the forces of nature, a blessing so volatile that it could be a deadly curse. Take the scepter, it is yours!!”. The last words rang repeatedly in my head, echoing till I blacked out.
