I sighed loudly as he pulled the dagger from beneath the light and turned it over inspecting it. “I knew you were the one to set us free.” Both Rhett and I turn with puzzled expressions to look at the sorceress. She begins to laugh. First, it was quiet then the laugh became that maniacal cackle again. “Run Hunter! Take your little cursed one. But don’t forget, by the blood moon she should be claimed, or the blood of the gatekeeper will be useless and the chosen one will remain in the between forever.” She begins to laugh again, the menacing pitch becoming higher and higher until the chamber begins to shake and debris begins to fall.

In the meantime, Elana and Magma had been working on something.
