The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Anyway, he had never thought about a smooth sailing. Even so, after killing the mysterious man, Caspian clearly felt that the nearby void was constantly trembling, as if something extremely terrifying was about to rush over! Thus, Caspian didn't delay and flew straight towards the abyss. The abyss was deep and immeasurable, stretching as far as the eye could see! Even someone like Caspian couldn't help but tremble when facing the abyss. "Is this Abyss?" Caspian muttered to himself. From a distance, Caspian saw planets formed by demons.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

Wildwood: The veins of the earth

Wildwood: The veins of the earth

It burned in his veins, igniting a primal awareness that made him both more and less human. He reached out instinctively, fingers brushing against something hard and smooth—stone, slick with age and seaweed. As his hand gripped it, the stone pulsed with a rhythm that matched his heartbeat. A sudden flash of light broke the darkness. The abyss began to reveal itself. ⸻ The Heart of the Abyss What Drift saw was not the ocean, but something far older.

 My Sister hurtful betrayal

My Sister hurtful betrayal

His voice thundered across the chasm, raw and broken. “Clara!” And then he was gone. The Abyss The fall felt endless, yet at the same time, sudden. Clara’s body slammed against something soft yet cold, sending shockwaves of pain through her bones. She gasped, rolling onto her side, her breaths ragged. The ground beneath her was not stone, nor earth. It pulsed faintly, as though alive. A faint glow shimmered around her, illuminating the abyss just enough for her to see. The abyss was not empty.

" yup this is it " " is...that....why.....you brought me ?" she said in between breaths . " well yeah I can't really sense demon energy too well seeing as I spent 10 years surrounded by nothing but Divine energy and these two are fallen so they can't even feel it so..." "I get it " she said as she seems to have recovered . " well if that's done I'll be taking the memories bit from the one's I got before this the absorbing is going to be violent so let's go inside " he said as he moved into the cave .

Blood on the Asphalt biker

Blood on the Asphalt biker

The black water outside suddenly rushed past us, and with a heavy, sickening thud that shook the entire cabin, we touched down on the bottom of the Mariana Trench. I routed the remaining power to the forward high-beams, illuminating the abyss. Nobody spoke. The breath caught in my throat. We weren't sitting in an empty trench of sand and rock. We had landed on the outskirts of an underwater metropolis that defied human comprehension. Abyssal-One didn't look like the pristine, floating sphere of Neo-Angeles. It was a sprawling, jagged nightmare of hyper-dense, pressurized black iron, covering miles of the trench floor. It was illuminated by millions of glowing, sickly green sub-ether veins th

Bound To The Cursed Alpha King

Bound To The Cursed Alpha King

The abyss was right there—just a few more strides. I pushed harder, my feet pounding against the earth. The trees opened up, revealing the jagged cliffs of the Silver Abyss. The ground dropped off sharply, a chasm of darkness stretching endlessly below. My vision blurred with crimson hues, the curse overtaking my senses, but I forced my legs to carry me forward. With one final burst of energy, I jumped. The air rushed past me, cold and biting against my burning skin. For a moment, I was weightless, suspended between the cursed energy threatening to consume me and the safety of the abyss.

The Awakening

Everything turns black. Fluttering of wings is the first sound her ears comprehend. She feels afraid for some reason, but doesn't remember why. Wind is whipping her hair around her face, but she can't see anything. Darkness is crowding her vision; she can't tell if her eyes are even open, because her mind can't focus. All she is sure of is that her body feels ice cold. So cold, her whole body goes numb. The only sensation her mind can process is a tingling working its way through her body. The only reason she is aware, is how it feels like scorching fire flowing through her. It traces its way around her heart, down to her toes, and back up to her heart, only to trace its way down her other l

Ruling the Mafia World

Ruling the Mafia World

“As for your second question, this is called the abyss. A place where no human could ever come. As for your case, your body remains in the world of humans, but just as I told you earlier; you have the blood of an angel that is why you are able to reach this realm.” I never thought the word abyss would look opposite to how I used to understand it meant before this moment. It was bright, serene, peaceful, and almost wonderful to stay in. In my understanding of the abyss, I always thought it was somewhere dark, lonely, scary, and even a chilly cold place. Not that I have thought of the word much before, because I haven’t had the luxury of leisure time to think of things without use to me. I was

Doing me to the fullest

Doing me to the fullest

A pillar of pure, neutral energy erupted from the two of them, tearing through the roof of the Vault and shooting four miles up through the dark ocean, breaking the surface like a second sun. The Abyssal Vault began to collapse. "Aris!" Jade screamed into her comms. "The Convergence is starting! We’re not the vessels anymore... we’re the Source!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Man, 'Abyss' is one of those stories that grips you from the first page and doesn't let go! It's a dark fantasy manga where the protagonist, a young girl named Riko, descends into a mysterious, gigantic pit called the Abyss. The deeper you go, the weirder and more dangerous it gets—think Lovecraft meets Studio Ghibli. Riko's searching for her mom, who vanished exploring the Abyss years ago, and teams up with a robot boy named Reg. The world-building is insane—each layer of the Abyss has its own ecosystem, curses, and relics. The art is grotesquely beautiful, and the emotional beats hit hard, especially when you realize how much the Abyss takes from those who dare to explore it.

What really gets me is the moral ambiguity. The Abyss isn't just a physical challenge; it forces characters to make horrific choices. Like, there's this 'blessing' curse that turns people into hollow shells if they ascend too fast, and the way the manga explores sacrifice and obsession is haunting. The recent anime adaptation nailed the tone, too—equal parts whimsical and horrifying. If you're into stories that blend adventure with existential dread, this is a must-read.
