I don’t even know how far I fell or how I was rescued. As I leave dinner and move to walk back inside the packhouse, the cold chill from nights ago hits me. Chapter Five Jamie It’s midnight, and the rain is click clacking on my metal cover over my back porch, I sit in my swing with Helios cuddled up next to me with a blanket drinking my favorite blueberry flavored decaffeinated, hot tea. I absolutely love the rain, for some reason it gives me a sense of peace while the sunshine just makes me antsy and all over the place. Sundays are the only day I have both of my jobs off so this is my night to stick my nose in an Emily Bronte novel, or just relax, and kick back doing nothing.

REID The light coming in through the window the next morning is uncomfortably bright, reflecting off of the blanket of snow covering the ground.
