She Runs with Wolves

She Runs with Wolves

The sky was a cool, cloudless blue, and I felt an imagined chill as I leapt out of the truck. I felt a pang of sympathy for Kathrena as she stumbled. She was weighed down by her unnecessarily large backpack, filled to the brim with various books, notepads, and fineliners, and it slipped from her shoulder and onto the gravel. I swept around to the passenger side, and, too swiftly for her to protest, grabbed her bag up from the ground. “Hey –“ she started, and then she paused, as though her brain had just caught up with her mouth. “Thanks,” she said, though she wouldn’t meet my eye.

Such an exciting read so far! I am enjoying getting to know our main characters and discovering how their lives have come together while trying to anticipate what might happen next as each chapter is released. Having just finished the entirety of The Beta’s Daughter, this author is an amazing writer

A fantastic second novel, with a refreshingly different tone from the previous entry. The mythologies in this are very well developed and I am very excited to see how the story unfolds! The protagonist and her love interest and very engaging too and I am rooting hard for them!

Stranded with the Billionaire

Stranded with the Billionaire

They couldn't get too much from the bears roaming Greenland . He puts food in his backpack and wraps the rest in a tarp. He folded it into a square, then took a string that he had stuffed into his sports bag. "What are you doing?" Madeleine asked. He looked at her. "It's called the Yukon Pack. I can pack more things this way than this little backpack. His gaze fell on the backpack. "Is this what I'm wearing?" Sage nodded. "Correct." Irena stepped forward and grabbed it. She then walked over to her suitcase and rummaged through it. After pulling out a few items, she stuffed them into her backpack. Sage tried not to notice that one of the items had his boyfriend's picture on it.

Just in case other hikers had no idea where we’re from, I suppose. He gently placed the baseball cap on my head, his fingers leaving tingles in their wake as he smoothed out my hair. “I would hate for your pretty face to get burned,” he said in a tone that made my stomach knot. “Although, we might be unable to tell with the amount you blush,” he added with a wink, and my face warmed on cue. Liam gave me a small red backpack to carry, and I looked at it curiously. There was a neon blue tube coming down the shoulder strap. He gave me another sexy smile that made my stomach flip again. He helped me put it on. “Hydration pack,” he murmured.

Lured By The Cursed Alpha

Lured By The Cursed Alpha

Willa's POV I stared at Alpha Kirsch in confusion, and he was staring at me in frustration. We were at the mall, in a bag shop. It had lasted for minutes now, and the salesman just stared at us with fear on his face from afar. Apparently, they knew the grumpy Alpha. "Why am I getting a backpack? I have one." I gave in first. "What you have is a traveling bag, you need a normal backpack for school." Alpha Kirsch frowned.

Yeah this is really good. I thought the results of 10/10 was a bit dramatic but this is very well written. Firstly it’s not predictable, which I love, but there seems to be a lot of things under the surface that the author has considered since the start. I can’t wait for it to be finished!

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

His suitcase was the smallest, packed with his toys. His clothes were in Craig’s bag. The older few strapped sacks on top of their suitcases, loaded up with travel snacks and toys belonging to Sawyer and Koben. Spotting Callia, the York boys pulled their suitcases at top speed while moving past crowds of people. “Callie! Callie!” Koben cried out loud.

Thus far the book ... was compelling but disappointed that there is no ending to the novel. I planned on reading another book after this but with this experience why would I since there might not be and ending to that one as well! Bummer! Please do better so you don’t loose customers in the future.

The Billionaire’s Bodyguard

"I know but I can't find my backpack" "It's in the room, ask Mr. Thompson to help you" Wyatt finally caught up to him leaving Alanna behind. "Why can't you help me?" Malik pouted. ‘of course he doesn't want me to help him, but I don't care I'm going to look for that backpack' Wilder turned around and walked back into the room. "Hey, have any of you guys seen Mr. Mendes’s backpack" Wilder asked looking around the room. “I think he left it where we charge our phones" Jin responded.

A Pet For The Two Mafia Dons

Lulu barked, pointing at the bag. Elena blinked. “Get what?” Lulu snatched her wrist, yanking her closer, her nails digging into her skin. “This bag!” Lulu hissed. “You little thief!” Elena’s mouth fell open. “What?” Lulu shoved her hand into the air, waving for the crowd. “Everyone, look at this! This is the new limited edition Damiano Noir backpack. Fifty. Thousand. Dollars.” Gasps filled the hallway. Elena’s stomach dropped.

Dump the Cheater, Go for the Hotter

Dump the Cheater, Go for the Hotter

“I have your two passports and mine and our wallets and your phone.” I narrow my eyes at her. How does she know I have two passports? I turn and begin to run. “Keep up,” I snap. “I am,” she bites back. She’s a ballsy little bitch, I will give her that. I turn and take the backpack from her and put it onto my back. “What’s in here?” I ask as I flick the long grass out of my way. “Just what I told you,” she calls. “Oh, and I bought you a sweater,” she adds from behind me.

and a pale pink life vest she had accepted only after calling it “acceptable but emotionally flat.” Karl carried the backpack again. Water, towels, sunscreen, extra socks, snacks, first-aid kit, dry bag, two changes of clothes, and possibly a certificate in disaster preparedness. The man walked ahead with Max hanging off one of his hands and Issa gripping the side of his jacket. I walked behind them with sunglasses, my phone on airplane mode, and dignity that was cracked but still glossy. The morning trail was more beautiful than a place technically standing in the shadow of Casa de Sanctis had any right to be.

Bullied By My Four Mates

Bullied By My Four Mates

“Go-bags for twenty on the way.” These bags were something the real Jacob had spent money on years ago. They were little bags that you could tie around your ankle before you shifted. The straps were stretchy enough that no matter how big your wolf, you wouldn't be able to rip the straps. They weren't big, just enough to carry a t-shirt, pair of shorts and other basics. In this case, they'd all include a gun. “Okay then. You've all got your jobs,” I smiled, motioning for them all to get going.
