The witch and her wolf series

The witch and her wolf series

*Soleil* It is dark out now and the sun is setting, as we are on our way to the circle. We are so high up north that the night is pretty short at this time of year. But still we need flash lights to find our way. When we reach the circle the full moon has just come up over the treetops and we can turn off the lights. "Marta is going to light a fire, and then we are all going to prepare our senses for the sitting out. These herbs help us clean our mind and focus". Siri shows me two leather pouches.

Midnight

Midnight

Alyssa holds hands and begins to sick soulfully: “When the heart is frozen, and your tears flow like the waterfalls in Alparo, when all seems lost and peace is yonder, oh! Daughter of the Ancient Alparo. Lift your hands to the sky, let your eyes glow, let your hands lead you to where the relief comes and power excels”. The entire room became windy, like a tornado. The books on the shelves begin to fall because the whole room is vibrating like an earthquake is about to happen.

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

“The world turned gray, and then—poof—you were gone. What happened?” June looked at the Golden Book. The purple page was missing. Now it was just a regular book, filled with recipes for bread and cakes. “I fixed the clock,” June said, tears streaming down her face. “I fixed the debt.” Marcus and Raven ran over, laughing. Everything felt normal again. Earth was safe. The Market was just a bad memory. But when June glanced up, something made her heart freeze. The sun was definitely moving—but it was going backward. The light shifted, orange to yellow, then to the pale blue of early morning. Dew lifted off the grass, floating back into the sky.

Bride of the Sea-King Alpha

Bride of the Sea-King Alpha

He tastes like black coffee, his favorite beverage that he holds in the other hand, but the bitter dark roast can’t hide the sweetness of his kisses, like wildflower honey. “I take it you’re on a study break.” He nods toward the deck behind us, where my lounge chair sits empty. On the table beside it is the book I’m reading, one that was given to me from the High Priestess Silanya back in Winter Realm, which I’ve closed using an embroidered handkerchief as a bookmark. “It’s not quite bright enough out to read yet,” I explain, though the sky is quickly warming, fading away the magic of the sunrise. “I’ve always liked the sunrises, too,” he admits.

The Luna Choosing Game

The Luna Choosing Game

We had to come around the house to face east. Already the sky was lighting up in warm oranges, the sun near the horizon. To my surprise, Veronica was already there, reading the book she had borrowed from the merfolk. She had a tiny book light clipped onto the top of the book. I marveled for a minute at how it could do so without bending the pages. “Magic,” Veronica said when I asked her. I had no idea if she was serious or not. “Mommy, look!” I turned my head just in time to see a line of blinding white stretch out across the entire horizon. Then the top of the sun brought all of the sunshine back into itself.

I hope Piper is shown stronger in the next plotline. Portrayed as someone worthy of the Luna title. Taking down the underground, as the Luna, with her love and the King on her side should be exciting. Love kickass female leads. Finally the story is moving forward.

can someone just let me know if Piper gets it back? I don't want to spoil the story for anyone starting so I am hoping to keep the comment generic, but honestly this felt drawn out and slow paced from the beggining and seeing it has over 600 chapts I will drop it. there isn't enough plot for this.

DEATH REINCARNATE

DEATH REINCARNATE

(INTO THE LULLABY) “BORN as one, but split by time, twins that should never depart will hold the sun and the other the moon. The starts in between and the life they hold, protected, the ones who should protect, but will be torn by fate and lies. How would their life end up into, from the loop of insanity that’s starting to mark their reality?” With the book that she holds within her hands, the title that is unrecognizable in the present time, and with the words that no one could read, but somehow, she can. The gift from above that she considers her treasure, is asking her for something that’s kept her wondering for a while now, where it rings along with the following words. “Alone at night?

MIDNIGHT: Whispers from the Dark Sea

MIDNIGHT: Whispers from the Dark Sea

The fury she felt slipped away slowly when those ocean blue eyes melted into her. "What book are you reading?" She asked softly. Kitanna tried to wipe her ear with her hands. She wondered if she missed anything between the scolding and the gentleness. Dante gulped, nodding repeatedly. Almira chuckled, "your head will fall off if you keeping nodding like that. You've not answered my question, anyway." Dante's mind went blank the minute she smiled. He couldn't even remember the name of the book he was reading. Something he swore to remember forever after turning the first few pages.

Light & Darkness: Book 1

Light & Darkness: Book 1

For now, she didn't even want to wonder what would happen if aunt Margareth finds out about her feelings. Selene stretched first, then slowly dragged herself off the bed, her eyes immediately fixed on the Book of Magic that was lying down on the desk, the one she had gotten from aunt Meredith yesterday. Selene took it gently in her hands and sat on the edge of the bed, setting the bulky volume on her lap, and flipped through the book several times. Afer the fourth time she stopped at a page that showed a portrait of a man with ebony, half-length hair, in a long black coat... The face itself seemed familiar at once, but when Selene saw his eyes - dark and captivating like two black holes, she

The Midnight Hotel

The Midnight Hotel

Rain hammered against the windows nonstop while fog slowly spread across the road ahead. Then the hotel appeared. Winona straightened immediately. The Midnight Hotel stood in the middle of the mountains like something pulled out of an old gothic movie. Warm golden lights glowed behind enormous glass windows while fountains shimmered beneath the storm outside. It looked luxurious, elegant, and strangely isolated from the rest of the world. “Okay,” Ava breathed. “I would absolutely die here.” “Comforting choice of words.” The moment they stepped inside, warmth surrounded them. Crystal chandeliers sparkled overhead while soft piano music drifted through the massive lobby. Beautifully dressed st
