Emily Warner, the crazy and happy go lucky side-chick in all of the stories. She is happy that all of her friends met the man of their dreams but she hasn’t. She has never met a man who even remotely loved her. As a kid, she always hoped for a crazy life story like beauty and the beast or toy story or finding nemo. But she worked at a nine to five job, at the age of twenty nine, she was single, while all of her friends were either getting married or pregnant. And there she was sitting in front of the television, eating chips out of her hair.

I remain silent during this process, still not sure what to think about this situation. “Oh, this isn’t good.” Axel exclaims, checking his phone. “I have an alert, the police are looking for a fugitive with telekinetic abilities who may be able to identify a high-risk Abnormal known as a ‘Mimic’.” He looks confused and turns to Myah, “Do you know what a Mimic is?” He asks. He stood on an elevated part of the stadium wearing all white clothing. “She is fighting solo, my dear spectators! Can she make it to the top?” The crowd roared. Malaika had gathered fans from different races as soon as she started the one-on-one battle. She was fighting nonstop the whole day, and as they expected, Malaika advanced and came in line to face stronger opponents from the higher caste.

I decided to follow the sound hoping for the best. I got to the kitchen, suddenly heaving a sigh of relief as soon as I laid my eyes on her. She stood by the sink, slowly stirring a mix of flour and cocoa in a bowl. Her white Apron had a few stains but she looked relaxed and engrossed in her work. She hadn't noticed me in the tensive room full of maids who were tensive at my presence. The woman close to the entrance shakily went down on her knees and they all stopped what they were doing, drawing Lena's attention to me. She stopped stirring, slowly dropping the bowl and dusting her hands on her apron.

Lightning flashed across the heavens, and thunder answered with a deafening roar that shook the very ground. Aria stood motionless amid the wreckage. Her hair, once soft and dark as midnight, had transformed into a luminous grayish white that glowed faintly, as if moonlight itself had been woven into every strand. Her eyes no longer appeared human; they burned with an intense white light. They were brilliant, ancient, beautiful, and utterly terrifying.

I wonder what Harper is doing right now. “Mika, how is she?” I asked him. “All I know is her moods are changing from heartbreak to anger. Though I did detect something strange a moment ago.” Huh… “Detect something strange? What was it?” I heard uncertainty in Mika’s voice. “She seemed to feel terrified, then everything disappeared. I can’t contact Mia.” Oh, Goddess. Let her be okay. It is a helpless feeling, being this far away from her and unable to go to her if she needs me.

Decked in smokey gothic makeup, a black choker around her neck with a ring piercing in one of her nostrils and two tiny round silver balled piercings in her right brow, she maintains her funny smile as she stretches a hand with nails painted black at me. “I’m Welma, and I know I must’ve surprised you. Girls like Kitra never learn the simple way so it’s best to challenge her like that, or she’ll keep trampling over you”. ‘Exactly my point!’ I hear Runa’s enthusiastic agreement and ignore her to politely introduce myself as I take her hand. “I’m Himari, and thanks for earlier” I smile softly and she suddenly wears a look of shock that quickly dissolves into a blown excitement as she brightens
