But Mirabel only laughed, her tone cold and condescending.

' Mirabel queried, eyeing her husband with disgust. Shawn returned her disgusted stares. 'Maybe you should just pluck out my eyes since you want to take my free will to use my sense of sight!' He replied to her sarcastically and got back to eating his food. Mirabel was angered by his response. 'Maybe I should!' She hissed. Mirabel glanced at Sheena, her eyes filled with contempt towards the poor girl. Mirabel didn't understand why Sheena was so likable and it irritated her. Her jealousy towards Sheena was over the top.

Caught off guard , Mirabel hissed and grabbed a fistful of Sharon’s hair , yanking it hard. Sharon grimaced in pain , but landed a solid kick to Mirabel’s shin, making her stumble. “You think you can walk into my mate’s home and insult me??” Sharon shouted. Mirabel smirked, wiping the blood from her lip. “Mate? How long do you think that’ll last when he sees what a liability you are??” A growl ripped from Sharon as she tackled Mirabel to the floor. They rolled , scratching, hitting, and shouting too enraged to care about the destruction they caused.

Things went on as normal on the surface but Mirabel knew that things were no longer the same. She still treating her boss with the utmost respect as normal but with repressed anger and disgust. She did not know that her feelings were not really as well hidden as she thought. Her mistress called her once and asked, 'Mirabel, ate you happy at all? Are you no longer happy working here?'
