Miracle Rhymes Novels & Stories

[Sixteen years ago, in the city of Lenford…] - A single petal floated in front of his eyes. It was a cherry blossom petal, one that signaled the beginning of the tree’s full bloom in spring. It was the first thing Michael McGregor saw before a girl about his age suddenly walked up to him, her hand tightly gripping the strap of her shoulder bag.

a woman murmurs. She’s not talking about what just happened when she says Miracles. She’s talking about people—very special people. Radar is a Miracle. So am I. There are seven of us in the District. The name Miracle has nothing to do with Powers, though every Miracle but me has one. The name was given long before any Powers evidenced themselves. It was bestowed upon us at birth. Indeed, our births WERE the Miracle. We live in a world of dichotomies. There are the Befores and the Afters, there’s Inside and Outside, and most scarily, Here and There. There’s no dichotomy for the Miracles, though. We are singular, unique.

Miracle “Are you sure about that?” I jumped at the sweet voice that filled my ears and I turned to see who was intruding on my peace with Mia. In front of me stood a beautiful woman. I have seen no one as beautiful as her. She was a tall woman with a milky white skin. Her platinum blonde hair flew around her as she looked at me with a sweet, gentle smile on her face that enhanced her unique violet coloured eyes. “Are you sure you don’t want to talk about your mate?” The sound of her voice broke my trance, and I blinked my eyes, trying to focus. If I was really in heaven, then she must be an angel.

One of the guests who were of high status stood up and said, and the others nodded, showing they agreed with his words. Alpha Lekhma, who was already frowning at Mirabel's words, creased his brow at the words of the guest and a deep breath escaped his lips. He smiled at the guest and turned to Rohan, ordering him to have his men bring out the Blue Miracle. Rohan nodded and left with three men to fetch the Blue Miracle. Everyone, including Mirabel and Mother Mary, waited in anticipation for Rohan to arrive with the Blue Miracle. Minutes passed, and the tall door opened, revealing Rohan and the three men standing with a stone that had the shape of a box in their hands.. On the body of the ston

They could walk for miles and never lose each other. Children played tag across hills that glowed with their laughter. Lovers reunited even after death. And always, faintly, in the air— a voice that was not a voice, humming a tune too new for words. --- Mira entered the dream one night without meaning to. She recognized the light immediately—the color of the first dawn after creation, pale gold and forgiving. But the world here was… sharper. Every blade of grass glowed with memory. Every shadow hummed with recognition.

Mira said it was a dragon song, a story of a poor girl who loved a prince. I didn’t bother to listen the legend. I cared about the way Mira rested in my arms, the way every rise and fall of sound seemed to settle in her soul. I held her close, breathing her in, her divine intoxicating scent. I couldn’t wait to this beautiful woman, to make her mine completely.

No heirs but what I allow. Drake's grip tightened, but I pulled him back, the glow still warming my skin. 'No more death.' Suspense lingered in his tense muscles, but he nodded, trusting me. I turned to the warriors, their faces a mix of shame and loyalty. 'Help me end this.' They rose, surrounding Mira, holding her as I placed a hand on her forehead, channeling the eclipse's light. It poured into her, breaking the dark threads of her spells, her body shuddering. She screamed, then went limp, the barren curse lifting like fog, but her eyes held defeat.

“Stop! Please…someone help! This isn’t real…you’re crazy!” I leaned in close, nose to nose, voice dropping to a silky whisper. “Crazy? Honey, I’m just getting started. You sent men to break me. I’m going to break you. Slowly. Creatively. And the best part? No one’s coming to save you. Not Daddy. Not your Mommy. Not even fate.” Miranda’s eyes rolled with terror. She clutched at her ears like she could block my voice out. “Shut up! Shut up! You’re lying! You’re just some nobody pretending—”

In the distance, I could see rows and rows of grapevines. Suddenly, the sun and blue sky vanished, replaced by gray clouds, and it began to rain. "Does the rain bother you?" he asked me. I lifted my head, savoring the cool droplets on my face. "No. A rainy day in Italy is still better than a good day anywhere else." He laughed, and that made me look at him. His shirt was gone, revealing his smooth chest and perfectly sculpted muscles that would have made Michelangelo weep with their beauty. I reached out, tracing my fingers along his chest.
