I tell him, as he walks away from me to get the things he need for our late night snack.
“No, you can’t,” he says, smiling at me. “You’re hungry, and I’m hungry, and it’ll be easier to go to sleep later if you’re not.”
He’s got a point. I sigh in defeat, and let him fix us some food, while I look at the glass bottle filled with the blue water. I pick it up and stare at it. It’s got some sort of glitter floating in there, but the glitter disappears now and then, and comes back again some other place inside the liquid. It looks magical. There’s even glitter in the bubbles that sometimes float up from the open top, and I can’t help but smile as I see one of them float up towards the ceiling.
