The Wolfless Luna
Her body jerked as she tried to shift into her wolf, but only her claws burst forth before retreating uselessly.
“You know what has gotten into your body, Mira,” Seraphina said. “No one survives that kind of poison. No one ever can.”
“Ah… please. Have mercy,” Mira cried.
But there was no antidote for her.
Blood shot up from her gut and spilled from her lips like an opened dam, splattering onto the cold floor.
The poison was eating every part of her away.
“I will never die alone,” Mira screamed.
Gathering her last strength, she forced herself upright, shocking everyone present.
