The swords pierced through the shell and got stuck in it. The scorpion screeched in pain. It writhed in pain. Its legs and arms flailed as it tried to stand back up, knocking the Hunters away in the process. The Hunters held tight to their weapons as they were swept away. Lawen raised his lance like doing a javelin throw. He channeled all of his astra in his right arm and he powerfully threw it at the scorpion’s torso. The lance pierced through the air and the scorpion’s exoskeleton while also pushing it back by the force behind that throw.

“The blue is the blue of his Wolf. He chooses to show it over his brown eyes.” Maybe that’s why he scars me so much. Because when I look at him, I see his Wolf looking back. I shudder for a moment, with the fleeting thought that I don’t want to be scared of him, that deep down inside me there’s a part that really doesn’t want that at all. “Why does he do that?” I ask.
