I looked at Moana. She didn't look down at the crag lord with hatred, nor did she flinch at the sight of eighty silver-tipped pikes gleaming in the pale winter light. She raised her right hand, her bare palm open to the sky, the raw cut across her skin completely healed into a thin, silver scar that pulsed with a faint, golden light. "Blow the caps," she commanded softly. Kaelen didn't hesitate. He struck a flint against the iron wedge, a single, brilliant spark catching the end of the hemp fuse. The fire raced down into the granite crack with a sharp, hissing snap, disappearing into the dark heart of the ice shelf.

The gap is big enough to go through inside the icy cavern. We swim through and out the other side. It opens out into a huge pool. The ice looks blue in here, being lit up by the power source this cavern has. We pass into another entrance but I stop hearing a noise. I look around when it gets louder. Like a groaning roar. I look at Artemis when the vibrations in the water ripple and there is a movement below me. I look down and see the glowing yellow eyes of the monster that protects the main entrance.

They were deep underground. After ten minutes of walking, the tunnel ended. They stepped into a massive cavern. "Oh my God," Serenity gasped. In the center of the cavern stood a colossal gate. It was at least ten meters high, made of a pitch-black stone that seemed to absorb the light from their flashlights. It wasn't just a door. It was a monolith. Carved into the black surface was a terrifying relief: Thousands of snakes intertwined to form a barrier. And in the center, a keyhole shaped like a drop of blood.
