Modern Guardian Ward Romance Novels Novels & Stories

**This is Book Three of the Guardians Trilogy. This book contains references to events that occurred in the first two books and spoilers for those books. It is recommended that you read The Broken Warrior’s Daughter and Alpha’s Guardian Angel before reading this, the final book in the trilogy. Eli I never expected to find my mate, much less in a small town in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains where I was just passing through. Even more surprising than her being under eighteen and nearly half my age, was the fact that she was human.

**This is the seventh book in the Guardian's Next Generation series (eleven in the overall Guardian series). References will be made to events that occurred in the other books without specific detail provided here.* As I walk on the sidewalks in the human city where I have an apartment, I think about the last week. It’s been a whirlwind of birthdays, my twin sisters both turned eighteen and then less than a week later, they both had their Luna ceremonies one night apart. They’re mated to the two Alphas that are in an alliance with my oldest brother, Rich.

Elle kept on marching up the hills angrily determined to get to the warehouse, she was almost so close to the warehouse when she saw a guardian in front of her baring his teeth, she immediately shrieked and hid behind a tree. She peeked out from the tree and saw at least 10 guardians walking around with red eyes, baring their teeth. She quickly took notice of their position; 4 were standing a few steps away from her, 3 were just roaming around and the other 3 were standing protectively in front of the warehouse. "Okay, Elle you got this. Just distract them, quickly enter the warehouse and get the decors" with that she picked up 3 stones and threw them in random directions, making the guardia

We’ve all read them right? Those sappy romance novels, the ones where some handsome stranger rescues the damsel in distress. He’s wealthy like no other and adores the ground she walks on. There’s some life altering event, a struggle of some kind but it gets resolved and they live happily ever after.

“I, Vincent Andrew Ricci, hereby swear my allegiance to the protection detail of the sole remaining white wolf, Ellie Grayson. I promise to protect her with my life for the rest of my days.” Bright light sprung out of his chest and slammed into all of ours, solidifying the bond he made as a Guardian Knight. We had always talked about this potential but never wanted to take Vince away from his kind. While we knew the threat that Ellie was pre-destined to face would affect all beings within the supernatural realm there were still sects within the species who felt this was just a “wolf issue.” Shaking off my initial shock, I was extremely grateful for his sacrifice as Vince was deadly. he says, stroking his fingers down my cheek. “You always have, my love,” I say, feeling tears prick my eyes at the love I feel coming from my mate. “And I always will.” **This is the end of the Guardians Next Generation series. I have at least one book planned as a spin-off, The Hybrid’s Hope, Hope and Levi’s story. That book is coming soon.

Since I turned eighteen, he was constantly asking if I’d met my mate yet. “Not yet.” “I hope you’ve been saving yourself, Jasmine! Male werewolves don’t like an impure woman,” my grandfather exclaimed, catching me off guard. My grandma interjected before I could say anything, “Of course our Jasmine has been saving herself! You think she’s some sort of floozy?” “You just never know these days! Back in our day, women all behaved properly. But times are changing!” my grandfather replied. “And you think our little Jasmine is out there being improper? She’s a good girl. We raised her well. She knows to wait for the Moon Goddess’s gift.”

All she wanted to do was sleep the day away and party it up tonight, but she could never refuse her favorite friend. “Good to see you too, guardian. Literally.” I don’t miss the slow masculine smile he throws at me. I also don’t miss his slight dig about Gisella being a member of the wolf blood council, The Guardians, and now playing as my chaperone --- as my guardian.

The food was simple but nourishing, each bite a reminder that life persisted, even in shadows. Afterward, I curled up with one of Mira’s books—a cozy mystery about a librarian solving crimes in a quaint town. The pages blurred at first, my mind drifting to Zayden’s outstretched hand, his plea for me to stay. Was there love beneath the violence? Or just possession? The story pulled me in eventually, the twists and turns a welcome escape. Hours passed, the night deepening, and for the first time since the gunshot, I felt a spark of hope. Mira’s advice echoed: rebuild, one step at a time. Maybe tomorrow I’d venture out. Maybe I’d find a way to forgive or forget. But tonight, in this haven, I le

my mother said without looking up. I couldn’t laugh. “Read the rest,” I begged. My mother swallowed hard. “The Guardian is not born when the world is at peace. She is born when humanity plots its betrayal and magic grows arrogant. She will be marked by a seal that will protect her mind until the enemy reveals the gateway. Her heart will walk in fear, but her will will be iron. The wolf who finds her will not be able to possess her, for if he tries to make her a cage, the Veil will reject him. He will only be able to walk beside her as a shield and not as a master.”
