My Monster
A sigh of relief escapes when I find it normal.
“Thanks to you,” he tells me, and I beam.
“You’re welcome,” I drawl, earning me a throaty chuckle.
“I’d like to introduce you to the pack today, if that’s okay with you,” Kaziel says, and I nod.
“I’d like that—” I choke as pain suddenly shoots up my spine, my vision clouding over for a moment.
“Dani—” Kaziel starts to say, alarmed. But then, claws elongate from fingers, startling me.
