Dark Elf Maria

Dark Elf Maria

I played my trump card. “We will return before night, right?” “Sure, the moment you want to return I will follow you and if someone finds out, I will say that you had to out to help me.” “Fine, I’ll join you.” Operation convince Lada was a success. The barrier we are about to cross does not offer much in terms of protection. It is just a magic field that prevents anything that is not a pure elf or an animal from entering the village. Obviously, the Mothers have many spells covering the forest to know exactly when someone is nearby, but I bet they are too busy right now with their new book to notice us leaving.

LUNAR BONDS

LUNAR BONDS

The villagers whispered of a dangerous creature lurking in the nearby forest, preying on unsuspecting victims. Determined to put an end to the menace, Luna and Amelia ventured into the dark woods one moonlit night. They followed the trail of clues, guided by Luna's heightened senses as they delved deeper into the heart of the forest. Their steps were cautious, the rustling leaves beneath their feet seemingly echoing the tension within their hearts. Suddenly, a voice echoed through the trees, sending a chill down their spines. "Welcome, Luna," it taunted, its words carried by a sinister wind. "I've been waiting for you."

The Alpha's Witch Mate

The Alpha's Witch Mate

"How do I get there?" "You seek the hidden village", Melody said with fear in her eyes. "Yes",Serena said, noticing the fear in Melody's eyes. "I have a weapon I must retrieve from there". Melody took a deep breath and her red eyes were panicked. "Once you're out of the castle, travel east for about a mile and then dive down into the monster's mouth. The cave of Tamarin glows in the dark, it won't be hard for you to discover it".

The Beta's Prize

The Beta's Prize

Every bit of forest had been cleared for farming and used to craft hugely impressive halls, market squares and buildings. We pulled up outside a village, waiting for the usual assembly of scared looking men to arrive, fearful we were going to plunder them of all they owned. A chunky middled-aged man the size of Jackson stepped forward, “welcome to Mortley, we have nothing of value…please do not harm us.” I looked around and realised the place was cleared of women and children. They must be hiding, a sad lesson of experience. “We are here as part of an effort to remove the criminals from the Shadowlands. We have already had four successful attacks further north, you might have heard?”

This writer is truly one of the best on this app, hands down. The books are ALWAYS captivating and full of suspense and will take you on a true roller coaster of emotions, leaving you wanting, needing more. The ending, as others said, was heart breaking.. Amazing otherwise. Excited for more to come!

This was the first book from Alle I read! At the time I was unaware it was part of a series so after reading I restarted the journey with the Banished Alpha! Rereading it once more (while I waited for her to drop “Resisting the Beta”) is even better, I absolutely love it. You are a brilliant writer!

I Choose You

I Choose You

It seemed like most of the town was there. “Team Red is getting attacked by Team Blue,” Tommy explained, pulling out his phone and starting to press buttons furiously. I sighed. “Tommy, I have no clue what you’re talking about.” “This location is a Monster Gym.” He rolled his eyes as if what he just said made all the sense in the world. “Looks like a church to me,” I said, trying to walk away.

Incognito

Incognito

Lupa, her senses attuned to every sound and movement, led the way through the village, her water and ice powers keeping the mist thick and impenetrable. They moved with the stealth and precision of trained assassins, each step calculated, each movement planned. The village, though bustling with life, seemed unaware of the silent shadows passing through. Claud used his control over the elements to gently shift branches and leaves out of their path, preventing any accidental noise. Lycidas, ever the acrobat, performed a series of silent backflips and spins to avoid detection, his warlock abilities enhancing his agility and speed.

The Fourfold Desires

The Fourfold Desires

Figures emerged from the darkness—creatures made of stone and smoke, their hollow eyes glowing with an eerie blue light. I watched as one monstrously large jagged claw slashes through the air, clearing another good number of Valcrow’s men. Lyn and Jin barely managed to dodge the attack. I glanced to see Lyn, Soren and Kai battling the monsters along with our enemies while Jin stayed near me. He raked worried eyes over me. “Are you alright?” I nodded, managing a wobbly smile. “I’m hanging in there.” Jin huffed a laugh. “I’ll admit, this wasn't what I signed up for when we agreed on this expedition.”

The Forbidden Crown

The Forbidden Crown

It was painful, but she remained strong. Elen attempted to release dark magic discreetly, feeling her body burn from the sudden surge of power. She knew she had to protect everyone, even at the cost of straining herself. The monster's movements were restrained, providing Rora and Lucas with an opening to attack. "Rawr." The monster's roar was unexpectedly loud, calling more monsters to their location. Now surrounded, Elen couldn't summon another burst of power as she was already at her limit restraining the initial monster. Calling upon Cain was too risky in this situation.

I replied and walked to him. “You okay?” I asked. He nodded and smiled. “Just a scratch.” The others carted off what we needed and then Came back inside. “That's everything,” Dusty said. I nodded and was about to turn to Jasper when I heard the sound. The soft hiss of a mologon. “What?” Sonny asked. The lights in the stall immediately began to flicker and a shadow leaped past one of the aisles. “A monster,” I replied. Mologons were creatures that hunted in packs and where there was one, you could expect a good thirty more.

Blood and Rain

Blood and Rain

the captain whispered, his voice cracking with emotion as he looked around at his well-fed, unharmed men. "The only monsters are the ones sitting on the high thrones of the Inner Forest Glen," Lucian answered, stepping up to the dais beside Rebecca and looking down at the gathered forces. The entire vanguard—wolves, vampires, primordials, and witches—lined the courtyard, looking down not as enemies, but as a unified wall of power.
