Fated to the Queen
Accompanying Kimarhi outside, I strip and turn to help her before she hastily shreds her dress.
“I like this dress, and we still need to have lunch with my parents.”
I carefully hang our garments on a tree limb. Turning back to my mate, she is naked and stretching her muscles. I do the same, and together, we shift. Neither of us howls in pain, being strong for the other. I take in the sight before me when I can see again.
Quite the opposite of her petite womanly frame, Kimarhi’s white lioness is about the same size as my massive black wolf. We are the perfect representation of night and day.
