The Alpha's Sin

The Alpha's Sin

It looked like a blob of jelly if not for its hideous head and its wide eyes that were staring at me in hate. Its jelly like hands reached out for Miranda who was cowering behind me and she grabbed my hands hard, digging her nails into my skin to not let the hideous monster take her away. “Go away” She shrieked and put me in between herself and the monster. Was she going to use me as a meatshield? I struggled to let go of her hold on me and also threw rocks and pebbles at the monster but my puny attempts did little to dissuade it.

The Villain's Hero

The Villain's Hero

I hurried on, not wanting to appear to be staring at him. The activity thinned nearer to the monster. The great bonfire had been reduced to a mound of ashes that still gave off heat, and the grass had been trampled down to the dirt. In death, the monster had collapsed onto its belly, its long, thin legs folded up against the body except for the great pinchers that lay before it, forming a cup towards the remains of its face, the many-faceted eyes dulled. Bugs had landed to feast upon the moisture of the eyeballs and had, from some nature of the liquid, become stuck there, their wings fluttering futilely.

Wanderers Of the Night

Wanderers Of the Night

However, he can always get meat, and there is enough money to buy the rest. An involuntary grin ran across his lips, he imagined what it looks like now from the outside - a humanoid creature with elongated pointed ears, a mouth full of fangs, cheeks and neck covered with an intricate pattern and lifeless blue eyes without irises and pupils. And this monster carefully sorts and lays out the products with scaly fingers ending in sharp spikes. It is not enough to spread their wings and drive away insects with them.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The huge hand, which was full of eyeballs, ignored Bone Demon's wail and swallowed it up. Then, a monster as big as heaven and earth appeared. Caspian's pupils contracted. The sudden appearance of this monster was the huge eyeballs of a planet! Arms stretched out from the eyeball. These arms contained countless fiends. Some of them had bat wings, laying dormant, as if they could wake up at any time. There were others that were flesh balls that released hoarse roars, extremely painful. There were also rotting corpses that were already dead, but they didn't seem to have died!

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Bride of the Beast

Bride of the Beast

Not without the moon goddess at his command! “Oi, free up some Lassie, we're not bad wolves you know? Only a little ugly no?” The boulder of a wolf with one sunken eye and the other the size of a beach ball in his frog-like head cooed and I gaped at him like he had gone mad. The monster had to be the one they called Eagle eye. The Pink-eyed monster’s right-hand man. A shiver of trepidation straightened my spine as the memory of the beast’s mangled face reared in my mind until I’d stomped it out.

The Rebellious Alpha

Not to my beloved mate! The wind suddenly raged against us, my fingers elongated into black claws, my eyes didn't change to Golden yellow. They were different, a sparkling shade of deep red! I don't know why, but I felt power on a whole new scale. I was a monster and they could all see it, the redness of my eyes. Jerry gasped in horror but it was too late. I was going to kill him.

Flames Of Hate and Retribution

Flames Of Hate and Retribution

The creatures hands at first looked human, but as it stretched towards the finger tips they became long sharp elongated fingers. The monsters were almost identical to the myth of Brisia. Eyes stitched shut, tongue cut out, and their humanity gone. It was said if a minion of Birsia were to step into the mortal realm their eyes would be stitched shut, as their eyes had been shut in life. Their tongues were taken so they could not spill the secrets of death or the ones they kept in life. Harsh? Maybe, their texts claimed it was for being led by greed, or following blindly. The monster lunged forward raking it's claws down the a man's face and chest cutting through his armor like it was butter,

The Alpha's Touch: Revival of the Eastern Kingdom

The Alpha's Touch: Revival of the Eastern Kingdom

But the most painful thing he had to endure was when long fingers reached for his eyes and plucked the maggots out one by one. “Forgive me, oh young one but this is going to hurt. But if I don’t remove the maggots they will continue giving birth. The maggots on your eyes haze your mind like a plague. If we don’t remove them, all you will see is a world that is vague.” Calleb screamed when a particularly large insect was pulled from his eyes. And its size caught him by surprise. He begins to see blue, he begins to see black. As the Sorceress continues to pull — she places the insects inside a sack.

Echoes of Moonfire

Echoes of Moonfire

My vision snapped into clarity, and the world around me seemed sharper, brighter. The monster’s eyes — those pale, pitiless lights — flickered. For the first time, there was something in them that almost looked like fear. Recognition flashed across its eyes. Heat surged through my arms, and with it came a strange certainty. I didn’t think. I didn’t plan. I willed it. My hands rose, and with a flick of my fingers, the thing’s grip tore away from me as if it had been yanked by an unseen force. I hit the ground on my feet, breath heaving, but I didn’t stop moving.

An Eye for an Eye

An Eye for an Eye

He made it seem like I could easily rip Sylvia into pieces with just my sight. I only realized I had tears streaking down my face when I felt Marcus' hand on my cheek. "Don't cry, honey. I'm sorry. Please listen to me, okay? It's not what you think…" Marcus kept wiping my tears away in a fit of panic, but he could never stem my tears no matter how much he wiped. In the end, he just pulled me into his arms and began comforting me in soft tones. At the same time, he prevented me from looking at Sylvia.
