“We still have to be at the office."
“No, we don't. I own the place, remember?"
He reached for me, and I stepped aside. “Well, I don't. Now, get out so that I can get ready and leave. I still need to get home and change.”
I shooed him out and hurriedly, and shut the door.
When I stepped out, Jordan was standing just outside his closet. His pants hung low on his waist, and his chest was bare. He was rummaging through a rack of shirts trying to pick one. He pulled two off the rack and showed them to me.
