Three days had passed, and it was almost time for the moon festival to start as all the packs prepared themselves for the auspicious occasion. The moon temple was decorated beautifully with the moonflower, ipomoea alba, along with the decorative lights covering the whole of Arthdal and the moon charms in the four regions. The north, south, east and west mainly to shield the land and guide the guardians spirits, to let them know that the land needs to be protected from harm and to keep the land alight and away from darkness.

"We seek the essence of water," I said, my voice clear despite the ocean's waves. The ocean spirits considered us for a moment. "Prove to us that you are worthy. Show us the strength of your unity." Once more, we joined our powers together, this time combining the elements of fire, earth, air, and darkness. The display of elemental unity was magnificent, and the ocean spirits nodded in approval.

I blinked. “What about the other one?” Jasper asked, pointing to the fifth wolf and the Abbey nodded at me when I hesitated. “Also water. The moon controls the sea tides which have both high and low tides, and unlike the other elements, the sea is not complete without either which is why they exist in tandem.” The Abbey smiled and nodded at Jasper.

“Interesting.” “Interesting?” I echoed. “That's all you've got?” Her lips quirked. The closest thing to a smile I'd ever seen from her. “Supernatural dynamics are complex, Aria. What seems like a potential disaster could be a precise magical alignment waiting to happen.” She walked to the center of the concrete space, gesturing for me to follow. “Moon magic,” Elara began, “isn't learned. It's remembered. Awakened.” Her hands started moving. Intricate patterns that seemed to cut through the air itself. Energy crackled—thin blue lines of power that danced between her fingers like living electricity.

Nueva pretended to be grumpy and stared at Mira with icy eyes. Mira slowed her steps and looked worried for a moment. "Um, did I do something wrong" she mumbled, and her green eyes flicked nervously between Agnes and Nueva. "I will fill you in later, darling" Agnes pinched Mira's freckled cheek and turned her focus back to Nueva. "To answer your question, Moon Water is susceptible to earthly energy from the Moon. So it can become a talisman, for spells or future rituals."

Dinah said, and I was surprised at her words. " Isn't she your friend?" I asked, and she laughed. " Not her," She said, and I was surprised. " People make that mistake often, summing Luna and Selene as one person. They are sisters. Selene is the moon goddess. The mother of spirit wolves, and all wolves. The light that graces the night sky, keeping Luna and Apophis away, so they do not corrupt the earth with madness and darkness." She said, and I frowned at her.

They howl at the moon each night, a tribute to the goddess who blessed them with her gift, and to the leader who showed them how to use it for the greater good. And as they stand together, under the light of the full moon, they know that they are not alone. For the spirit of Andrea is with them always, watching over them and guiding them, just as she did in life. And though she may be gone, her legacy lives on, a testament to the power of love, courage, and determination.
