Moon Born Novels & Stories

Luna, in turn, regaled them with cosmic anecdotes, weaving a tapestry of celestial wonders that captivated the Blackmoon audience. As the night deepened, the moon cast its silvery glow over the Blackmoon landscape. Luna, surrounded by the warmth of newfound friends, felt a sense of cosmic kinship that transcended the boundaries of realms. The Blackmoon enclave, once veiled in shadows, now stood as a testament to the transformative power of celestial intervention.

"Stop!" Tomorrow is the day that Luna will be offered to the Moon Goddess, Mayari. Her ancestors came from a long line of servers for the temple of the Goddess, and seventeen years ago, Luna was born on the day of the Lunar Eclipse. For them, it means Luna is the fateful one, the one to save the world by meeting the son of the Sun. Which, by the way, they have no idea who.

A way for my pack to show off their female population. My eyes scanned the crowd but neither really saw through the mass of bodies nor heard far due to the music blaring from the speakers. The fairy lights covering the pillars and the railings were eye-catching but what stood at the spotlight was the moon. I might have forgotten it was a full moon night today. How magnificent it felt, to be under the moonlight that seeped through the clouds, falling on us from time to time. A male gestured me over, and despite my nerves, I approached him with a curtsy when I sensed the power coming from him. He smelt of gamma blood, a third in command or the warrior wolf.

“Honey, I’m surprised you didn’t know. Theodore Watcher was one of the bravest and best vampire hunters according to legend.” “Then how come I’ve never heard of him in the legends!?” Liam scoffed. “Hell, it would have been pretty nice to know where I came from!” “Well, you came from me,” his mother snickered. “I remember that vividly. It was quite a day.” Liam rolled his eyes again as his mother added the berries to her granola. She stirred them in, chuckling the entire time. “Honey, I don’t see why you’re making this such a big deal. It’s just a silly legend, after all.”

I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

Ahri replied. "So, how are we going to find the bracelet? This is our last life and we should find it before the next full moon of this year. The New Moon today has an illumination of 0%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On March 22 the Moon is 0.36 days old. This refers to how many days it has been since the last New Moon. It takes 29.53 days for the Moon to orbit the Earth and go through the lunar cycle of all 8 Moon phases," Ahri voiced out her thoughts.

Alpha Dillon interrupts Brody, “Rumour has it that the Moon Goddess walks the Earth on the eve of the Blood Moon meeting the Wolf Moon” I remembered the story from my childhood, a wolf moon was a full moon in the month of January, whilst a blood moon is once every nineteen years, the odds of both of them happening at the same time was rare and when it does it creates a blood supermoon that allows the Moon Goddess to cross from her realm to ours, gracing us with her presence. As Alpha Dillon continued to explain the rumour, I had a sudden realisation, TJ was created under the supermoon.

He is different from the others, there is more to him, something magical. I had gotten so caught up in the giant Were, that I had lost track of the back and forth conversation around the table. As I concentrated again, I caught on to the fact that the visiting diplomats were upset that Tri-Moon didn’t realize that their Luna was going into heat. They argued amongst themselves that they had no way of knowing and that she didn’t show any signs. After someone asked why this was the first heat of such magnitude, my interest peeked. “That we don’t know” Cole answered him.

“Take Corey and head toward the top of the street. I’ll check the other end. If we don’t find anything, we meet back here and figure out the next step.” Corey clings to Lucas with concern lining her brows. “Be careful, Hayley.” “I will.” And right then, we split off into the night. Making my way down the street, I notice the night has grown significantly darker now. The street lamps thin out the farther I go, and their dim glow barely reaches the pavement. The only real light now comes from above—and that’s when I notice it. The moon is full tonight. I switch on my phone’s flashlight, casually sweeping it from side to side to light the way. Just then, the beam catches something on the edge o
