Moon Falls Novels & Stories

My Alpha mate, Kane, finally reached out through the mind-link after three days of me not showing up at his door to make a scene. His voice cut into my head, carrying a rare trace of satisfaction. "Looks like you finally understand that the rules of the Blackwood Pack aren't just for show. Since you've learned your lesson, I'll give you the pass to the healing springs. And stop making a fuss over every little thing where Selena's concerned." I didn't answer. Just looked down at the bloodstains still dried between my thighs. Kane probably thought I'd finally learned to obey. Learned to bow my head to him and Selena. No one believed that I, as Luna, had to apply to Beta Selena just to use the

She looks up, and it's true. It has been rusting ever since last spring if you believe the papers, but who would still believe them nowadays? They have been lying for a year now. Except, when it comes to the moon. With its brown spots, it looks marbled. As if someone had taken it off the sky by the start of the year in order to petrify it. Like what they’ve done with life.

POV: Luna The next three days blurred together. Training. Planning. Preparing for a confrontation that might kill us all. But tonight, the Headmaster had ordered everyone to rest. Forced downtime before the final push. I found myself on the roof of the dormitory, staring at the stars. The moon was waxing, almost full. In four more days, it would be complete. The same night as Malachar's deadline. Of course he'd chosen the full moon. Maximum power for both of us.

I crumpled the papers, determination burning within me, I will not sign the paper. I wouldn't make it easy for him. I rose from the chair, resolve etched on my face. I had to escape from the palace so as not to be seen again. I can't stand the shame of being rejected after so many years of togetherness. Alexander's grasp tonight was the perfect opportunity for me to do that. The moon was full as it signifies the long awaited Moon Ball celebration and everyone was outside jubilating and dancing while the young ones were singing and playing. This is the best time to escape as it would distract everyone from noticing my disappearance.

He settled into a long vigil, determined to be there for Kaerlia every step of the way on her journey to recovery, no matter how long it took. ~~~ The Moon Palace was a breathtaking sight to behold. It stood upon the surface of the moon, gleaming with an ethereal luminescence that cast a gentle, silver-blue glow over the lunar landscape. The palace seemed to merge seamlessly with the moon's natural beauty as if it were a part of the celestial body itself.

The moon, witness to countless transformations, waited patiently for Jette to unveil the artistry of control that lay within her heart. The moon, casting its silvery glow over the quiet landscape, signaled the arrival of another night—the canvas upon which Jette's newfound mastery would be unveiled. In the soft luminescence, Jette stood, a silhouette against the moonlit panorama, her eyes reflecting a depth of understanding that went beyond the ordinary.

said Reymond in awe. "What should we do next?" said Tanner. "Hmm ... let's go around first," said Eruza thoughtfully, to which everyone agreed. "Nelson what do you see?" Leonard asked, the burly man really liked Nelson, who was considered the youngest of them. However, Nelson did not answer at all, because Leonard was curious to follow Nelson's eyes, as well as the others so that they all froze too. Two months during the day, one crescent and one full moon. The crescent moon is blue while the full moon is red. It's not natural at all.

Ming Yue stood alone in the moon chamber at the top of the Moon Palace, her long, flowing robes rippling slightly in the cool breeze that blew through the open balcony doors. The night was still, the air filled with a heavy sense of mystery, as if the very atmosphere of the heavenly realm was holding its breath, waiting for something. Below her, the vast expanse of the realm stretched out, but her focus was fixed on the moon that hung high above, a glowing silver sphere that bathed the world in its ethereal light.

No one in my family had silver strands or eyes like mine. Mom looked out of the window into the darkness, "There was a fire." My mind immediately went to the images shown to me by the lake. What if the lake showed me the night when my biological parents died? "It happened on the full moon?" Mom looked back at me, "A few days after the full moon, you were born on the night of the full moon, but it was no ordinary full moon, it was the night of a blood moon." My stomach dropped further hearing this.

The Moon Festival was never meant for people like me. All around the clearing, wolves danced and laughed, their faces painted with silver crescents, clothes glowing with threads woven under moonlight. Lanterns floated overhead, their warm gold light casting shifting shadows on the stones below. The ancient pines swayed, whispering old prayers to the Moon Goddess. I stood at the edge of it all, half-hidden beneath the gnarled limbs of a hollow pine. My hands were clenched inside the sleeves of my simple robe—undyed, unadorned. I wasn’t dressed to be seen.
