Amara's POV The moon, a heavy, swollen orb of molten gold, hung in the ink-black sky, radiating an almost sentient glow. It felt less like a celestial body and more like a silent, all-knowing presence, aware of the profound, sacred event that was about to unfold. Its luminescence streamed through the large window of the guest chamber, painting the familiar room in hues of silver and shadow.

Shadow growled. “Oh, please don’t yell, you’ll wake my grandpups and they’ve been through a lot. I am Storm’s mother, Selene. And yes, I am THE Moon Goddess.” She rolled her eyes. “Okay, so if you are the Moon Goddess, prove it.” Shadow demanded. Selene glared at Shadow and huffed. “Shadow and Jennifer Collins. How are your pups?” she asked. “How are Spyder and Spencer? Isn’t their mate expecting along with her cousin?”

Cilyna's mother began. The full moon's silvery glow shines down as a spot light on a pure white wolf with golden eyes that glowed with the magic of the moon goddess. She leaned down to get a drink from the cold steam and suddenly noticed a pair of eyes standing behind her in the reflection from the water. The white wolf eases closer and she slowly turns to face this beautiful creature hoping for the best. The golden eyes piercing glare lasted only a moment before the wolf started growling. The girl resembed the moon goddess that cursed her and the girl's face sent the beast into a frenzy.

She is a Rogue and not eligible for anything. When he proposed his idea Alex was the first one to oppose knowing that the members of the packhouse would go against that. No one would accept a Rogue as their Alpha's mate or Luna. A Luna must be someone who would be chosen by Moon Goddess. But Leonard cleared his point too. When he had captured Iris he planned to torture her to an extent that even death would be scared to touch her. But he had never thought to see the mark on her. Even though he was the Alpha maintaining a peace treaty with other packs, he knew very clearly that anyone who would get a chance to rule over the territory won't stop from claiming such power.

The forest’s own power protects it from something that would destroy it. I sat up and looked at the wolf, his fur vibrant in the firelight. Was he the Sun, the one to bless the dragons? The Sun God to compliment The Moon Goddess? He was stunning and oh so terrifying to look at. Like looking directly into the sun. You know it’s going to hurt, maybe blink you, but it was just too beautiful to look away from. I never put much stock in the Sun God before, but seeing this beautiful wolf was proof enough for me.
