I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

It had the sign of the moon on it too. "This, is the sword of Artemis, it will be your cloud in the day and fire in the night. It will be your guild. Accept this gift from the goddess of the moon." Myra bowed placing the sword in her hands. Kendrick hesitated taking it at first, but changed his mind as his took it carefully from her hands. He held it in his hands and the moon symbol on the handle of the sword glowed brightly, and so did the moon on Myra's forehead.

The moons represented every shape of the moon while the stars were shining brightly around it. I ran my fingers over the stars, "Thank you, this is beautiful," I replied still mesmerized by it but reluctantly tore my gaze from the windchime to find Damien looking at me with a big smile on his lips. There was no icy glare in his eyes that had the power to melt the person standing in front of him. I couldn't look away from his captivating smile, which held all of my attention. "How did you know I like wind chimes?" I asked curiously.
