They questioned whether it was merely a fleeting moment of collaboration or As I stood within the heart of the Moonlight Pack's territory, I couldn't help but be captivated by the mesmerizing sight above me. The moon, a celestial beauty, shone brightly in the night sky, its ethereal light cascading down upon the land below. The moon's gentle radiance enveloped the landscape, transforming it into a mystical realm bathed in a soft, silvery glow. Throughout history, the moon has held a profound significance for humanity, serving as a timeless symbol that transcends the ever-changing nature of our world. Its presence in the night sky has captivated our collective imagination and played a vital r

One day old and ancient, the waxing crescent—barely more than a sliver, really—rises mere minutes before the night is to lift and the day is to break. Weak as she is, the moon still sees it, not the act itself, but the aftermath, the spreading cinders tearing through the world, dissolving all that it touches, unravelling the tapestry that time and fate has woven of this world. ‘You’re cheating,’ the moon tries to say to the night, but then the sun has risen by now, chasing the night away from this half of the globe.

The day of the full moon had arrived, bringing with it a palpable tension that hung heavy in the air. If the predictions held true, Mason and his werewolves would launch their attack today. The uncertainty surrounding the exact timing of the assault only heightened the unease. Moonrise occurred at 21:14, with the peak of the full moon set for 12:48 AM. Would the enemy strike before, during, or after the peak? Without a spy among the enemy pack to help them with such information, there was no way to know for sure. This detail only added to the tension, casting a shadow over their anticipation of what was to come.

The full moon was slowly rising in the sky, its light bathing the sanctuary in an ethereal glow. We knew tonight would be different, charged with a special energy that could change everything. Kessler had briefly spoken about what was to come, but now, with the full moon nearly at its zenith, the moment was approaching.

I stare in awe as the man I spoke to yesterday and who I named, Moon lifts the moon once more. Yet, this time I was standing right by his tower. He did everything he did yesterday. This time the moon is in a waning crescent. Still, it wasn't any less magnificent. It was like an art. His body moved so perfectly and well-practiced.

I asked pointing towards the box. He walked to stand in front of me, "This is for you," he lifted the box slightly. "Open it," he nodded with his head. I slowly lifted the lid of the box and a small gasp escaped from my lips as I looked at the wind chime in the box. A smile instantly made its way on my face as I touched the cold surface with my fingers. It made a soft noise when I tried to remove it from the box. There were three golden rectangular tubes in the middle with small stars and moons dangling around them unevenly. The moons represented every shape of the moon while the stars were shining brightly around it.

He didn’t want her to freak out if it was a simple panic attack. Out of the corner of his eye, Liam spotted his father. He was dressed in red and black as well, but he, too, looked horrified. In fact, he was ushering Liam’s mother to the car. Liam’s legs felt wobbly. He couldn’t hear a word that the Mayor was saying as the crowd began to listen in to the speech about the legends of the vampires. For a moment, Liam’s fear subsided as the glistening rays of the sun hit his skin. The warmth was welcoming, and he felt his breathing calm for a moment. Then the clouds came.

He raised his head at Matt at the alarming question raised. "That should be this full moon." Alpha Andrea finally answered even with Fiona's intent to intrude, I smirked behind my puffy face from the food I was trying hard to masticate. "Oh I see, that is perfect timing, the season of the Moon Goddess, blessing the Aloha and his Luna, we could have what such auspicious date, but we're so engrossed in each other that as a common Gemma and Omega we choose a normal day." Matt let out his hand scrolling through his phone and Alpha Andrea's eyes were red, and the redness I could see calming to purple anytime soon.

Speak of the Devil. I slowly shifted back as Jasper approached. I didn't bother to hide my body, there was no use, I had learned that well at this point if the bruise on my wrist had any indication. "Alpha Jasper- Uh- My mate. What may I do for you?" I watched his eyes narrow at the correction, but he said nothing of it, "Your Luna ceremony is tomorrow as you know. I want you to smell freshly like me. Understood?" I nodded solemnly. He wanted me to have sex with him right before the ceremony so he could ward off any others.

"Ronan! Target the center boulder on the upper shelf! Spears on my mark!" "Brace!" Ronan yelled, six of his strongest Moonridge warriors stepping forward, their heavy, silver-tipped spears balanced over their shoulders. "Launch!" The weapons flew through the howling wind, striking the frost-cracked stone with a deafening crack. The ancient boulder splintered, the structural integrity of the upper ledge vanishing in a single heartbeat. A massive wave of snow, ice, and heavy stone came cascading down, burying the first line of Blood Moon archers before they could release their strings.
