Moongrum Knight Elden Ring Novels & Stories

but letting our ties with New Moon disintegrate could prove catastrophic as well if left unchecked for too long, and it had already been quite a few years. “Instead of more moongrass,” Dedrick went on, “I propose we use Moonstone’s other biggest resource to our advantage: the moondeer.” He paused again, glancing up at Chris, who remained silent. My breath caught in my throat at the mention of those sacred, beautiful creatures. I didn’t have a good feeling about this, but I wanted to hear him out.

The day seemed peaceful and ordinary until a loud cry pierced the air. "A monster attack!" Panic spread through the crowd, turning the once-peaceful scene into chaos. Elen was taken by surprise. The knights swiftly positioned themselves to shield the Lady, while Rami and Rora unsheathed their hidden swords, ready to defend. "Protect the Lady no matter what!" Rami instructed, poised for action. "Are you knights?" Elen asked, eyeing their swords with curiosity. "Yes, we were knights of Adelstein before serving you," Rami affirmed, offering Elen a reassuring smile that conveyed their commitment to keeping her safe.

A burly figure appeared, towering with a lion's head on top and draped in a complete lion's skin, wielding a giant ax. His exposed muscles bore numerous scars, making him look anything but friendly. Elara's smile vanished upon seeing him, and she reverted to her proud demeanor. "My affairs are none of your concern, Caspian." This man was no ordinary individual. He was the strongest warrior under Elara, the top warrior of Moon Deity Tribe. He had fought many battles for the tribe, shed blood, and held high prestige. He had the nickname 'Mad Moon'.

I got to the car, and just before I could open the door, the ringing of my phone distracted me. "Aiden, what's happening?" I asked. "A knight of the blood moon was spotted at the outskirts of the kingdom, you understand what this means right?" Aiden informed. I felt my soul leave my body for a split second, and in the next second I was inside my car speeding straight to the mansion. Knights of the red moon were Lycan poachers. They appear every once in two years on the night of a red moon and they attack every Lycan in sight.

“Whatever it is, we face it together.” Far in the northern peaks, the Daughter of the Iceborn knelt before a new figure a wolf with fur like shattered moonlight, its eyes glowing with ancient power. “The Moonstone is gone,” she said. “The Lunar Alpha lives.” The figure’s voice was a whisper of death. “Then we take her.” A rift opened behind them, spilling shadows that twisted into new forms Eclipseborn, but stronger, their bodies etched with lunar runes. The figure raised a claw, and the shadows bowed.

The blade thrummed with a fierce light, pulsing with every beat of her spirit. As she stood poised on a rise overlooking the battlefield, the packs rallied behind her. Warriors shifted into wolf and human alike, lifting their voices into the morning air, the sound swelling into a wild, chaotic hymn. "Moon Queen! Moon Queen!" The chant grew louder, more fevered, a drumbeat of hope. At her left, Jon appeared, mounting a sleek black horse, his quiver bristling with arrows enchanted by the sorcerers of Nightveil. He nocked an arrow that shimmered with living flame, the fire licking hungrily at the shaft.

TAE My pack believed that we were special. Hand picked by the Goddess and made protectors. They call it Hwansu in our tongue – Phantom beast. That was before they were attacked and shredded by marauders. If my pack saw me right now, cowering and hiding all because I thought I saw my tormentor, they’ll toast me for shaming our legacy. All because of Ronan fucking Blackwood. “Sunny?” I flinch at the mocking tone in Ronan’ voice and press my back against the wall, praying that the waste bin is large enough to hide my small frame.

Selene Morwen’s sigil, a crescent moon pierced by a dagger, flashed on the banners, confirming Renn’s report. My chest tightened, the curse’s whispers weaving through my thoughts: Traitor. You’ll lose them all. Mixing with the dread of facing Morwen, Draven’s former betrothed, and now Kaelen’s ally. The Red Cliffs loomed closer, but this patrol stood between us and Dorian... and possibly the artefact Morwen carried, if Torren’s intel held true.

The warrior held out something clenched tightly in his hand. A torn piece of black cloth. Embroidered onto it was the same broken silver crown Elara had seen in her vision. The Hollow Crown. “They’re closer than we thought,” Aldric whispered. The First Guardian growled deeply. “They were never far.” ⸻ Hours later, the valley had emptied. The Crimson Pack returned to their territory under a tense truce. The Moon Council departed with promises they would summon every remaining Elder before the next full moon. Only the Ashen Pack remained.

"I promise. No one will hurt you while you are here." Mira studied her face for a long moment, and then she nodded slowly. "Okay," she said. "I trust you." The rogue turned to Kael. "Aldrian's weapon. It is called the Edge of the Blade. It was forged in the blood of a wolf-less woman who was sacrificed to the old magic. It can cut through anything. Even a white wolf." Lyra felt the moonstone grow warm against her chest. "And you know where it is?"
