Auctioned To The Rogue King
Hazel and I went through the back of the mansion before arriving at the garden.
There was a little pathway with rose bushes lining the sides, and on those bushes, little lights had been strung around them, casting a warm golden touch on the grass beneath. Other flowers stretched around in a sea of color, and the sound of a little pond rushing, filled our ears, while the moon cast a soft glow over the whole garden.
Hazel picked the spot closest to the sparkling pond, between the rose bushes, and there we sat.
“Reading a book under the moonlight. Funny to have a reading partner.” She said, with a little giggle, as she opened the book. “You know, we could have some kind of reading list.”
