It was carved into the marble under the crescent basin. Luna Lyra. The letters felt heavier than they ever had. The garden was very bright, the moonlight shining brightly in the sky. Roses climbed the trellises. Moonlilies glowed faintly. Bees hummed lazily, unaware that anything in the world was wrong…. Well at least for them it wasn’t I stepped onto the gravel path, letting the crunch beneath my shoes ground me. “Lyra.” I knew her voice well enough now that my shoulders tensed before I turned.

Velkov. "So this is a new doctor for him? huh?" He asked Mr. Velkov "Uh..yeah" "You think this one will do? " Mr. Velkov didn't answer him and started introducing us. "This is Liam our youngest member and Liam this is Doctor Isabella Flores " I was seriously confused about what to do. Yeah well of course I knew who he is like who in the world doesn’t. I knew all the members of moonlight but I didn't know them personally before. Now I think I will.

"I don't like this, Miss Eliza. Those sounds aren't natural." I stood quickly, straightening my robe with determined hands. "All the more reason to investigate." With purposeful steps, I led our small group toward the source of the disturbance. The path to Moonlight Garden was overgrown with weeds and brambles that caught at our clothes. "What do you know about Moonlight Garden?" I asked as we pushed through the untamed vegetation. Ivy, still trembling slightly, shared what little she knew. "Moonlight Garden once belonged to Mistress Winters, one of Gamma's favored mistresses from eighteen years ago."

The next morning, I found myself dressing up, leaving Kol behind to catch a few extra minutes of sleep; he needed it more than I did. Today, I was going to visit the garden. I made my way to my moonflowers, my favourite spot. Their blossoms only appeared at night, quickly fading with dawn, but the scent lingered; it grounded me. They were like gentle, stubborn things that glowed in the dark. A maid nearby then came up to me with a small smile on her lip. "Luna," she said, with a slight bow. "We had a new flower bloom overnight." I blinked. "A new flower?"

Katrina’s POV The garden had been transformed into something I’d only ever read about in fairytales. The sky was painted with streaks of orange, pink, and purple as the sun began to sink lower, giving everything a warm golden glow. Lanterns floated gently above, glowing like little stars that had come down to witness this moment. Strings of soft lights curled around tree branches, twinkling faintly. Rows of chairs were lined up neatly, filled with pack members dressed in their finest. Their eyes turned toward me, and I could feel the warmth of their smiles, their silent encouragement wrapping around me like a blanket.

|| Lilac’s POV || The Moon Garden was a vision of opulence, bathed in the soft glow of twinkling lights and the silvery radiance of the full moon. The air was thick with the scent of blooming flowers and the hum of excited chatter. Everywhere I looked, guests were dressed in their finest, their laughter and animated conversations filling the night. Kael and Coco stood at the center of it all, their smiles wide and their eyes gleaming with triumph. It was a spectacle designed to remind everyone of their power and influence, and it was working.

I felt rather than saw him shrug. “I’m a Vampire. I was born from the darkness.” Before I could ask what that meant, he pulled open a door and ushered me through. The most beautiful garden I had ever seen was spread out all around me and I let out an audible gasp as I stepped within it. Where the sun did not make an appearance by day, the moon was full and proud in the sky, its soft glow radiating amongst the garden all around us. Large lamp lights hung across specific areas, providing good coverage to the whole place, and combined with the moonlight, I could see perfectly.

In that cottage, with the most unsavory and unloving mate any wolf would ever ask for. She missed her life in Wolf Landing, her friends and her pack even though all they ever did was bully and make fun of her. It felt better than this. . . much better than this life of loneliness and depression. She remembered asking the moon goddess for a mate, her excitement when she was finally granted one. But ever since she got to know Jude, she could never understand why Selene had chosen to curse her with such a man. At first she thought she could change him, but changing Jude was impossible. And so was going back to the Landing.

But I could not step into their light, not yet, maybe not ever. Tonight the garden smelled of damp earth and late-blooming jasmine. I crouched low behind the thick hedge of holly, thorns pricking my forearms through my worn shirt. My heart hammered so hard I tasted copper on my tongue. Lunaria was out here alone, there was no Isabella, no guards. Just her small figure in a pale nightdress, barefoot on the grass, twirling slowly with her arms wide like she was trying to catch starlight.

Nate blurted out. “Not Junior, I think Tara needs a hand.” You see Tara struggling with a toddler hanging off her side. “Oscars on it.” Nate laughed. You see the pair franticly trying to console their child. The wedding draws to a close, you head back to normality, being a mom and an editor and on full moons a werewolf, you gained a promotion in this time too.
