I punched the trunk of a nearby palm tree. She was carrying another wolf's child. I shouldn't be having these thoughts. "Alpha?" My second-in-command, Marcus, stepped out of the shadows. "How's the patrol?" I forced my voice to sound normal. "All clear. But..." Marcus hesitated. "There's something you need to see." I followed him to the island's sacred center. A legendary, ancient Moonwood tree grew there. It had been dormant for centuries. But now, it was blooming. Silver flowers glowed softly in the night, breathtakingly beautiful.

There was a legend though long ago about a silver wolf that became the embodiment of the moon. He hadn’t known much about the legend behind the silver wolf, but Maddox had filled me in with the rest. The legend goes that a wolf had been blessed by the Moon itself because the wolf was a protector. It had been gifted with renowned strength and speed that the wolf became known as the Ghost wolf.

Grappling hooks were starting to fly from the other ship, locking the ships together. “Cut the Ropes!” Claire yelled as she pulled the wheel hard away from the ship. The ship creaked as it tried to follow orders but there were too many ropes holding it to the other ship. Claire narrowed her eyes at the ship. It had jet black sails with a crescent moon on them. At the end of the crescent moon a star was dangling. Claire felt a strange feeling of dejavu. Did she know this ghostly ship? She looked down at the lower deck and the men were frantically trying to free the ship. Each time rope was cut it was magically replaced with another. They clearly had done this before.

Batistar said as he and his men started preparing their Madorina to retrieve the Prison from the Treasure Aqua. While Shadock and his men sat and watched. Setting down their Anchor to hold still their Madorina, the anchor never made contact with the floor of the Treasure Aqua. It was a very deep water body. So, Batistar thought of something.

She had already checked with Michael that the boats were rowboats and cocked her ear in the air. When no engine noise reached her, she smiled. “We can still do this.”

The full moon climbed into the sky. On a smuggler's ship sailing the Icehaven, a white wolf with no pack's mark quietly watched the distant auroras. I was curled up in a corner of the cargo hold, feeling the sharp pain of my bones cracking from the Mystical Moon Potion. It hurt so much that I cried, but inside, I was happy. They would never be able to find me. I guessed that as Adam stood before that burned body, I was already far across the swirling waters of the Icehaven.

But the Moon was not white anymore it was a pulsing green heart covered in black needles. Thousands of Benson ships were already there connecting to the Moon-Heart. June realized "We are not here to save the Moon we are here to be the ingredients." The hangar doors would not. The ship was being pulled toward a giant glowing green hole, in the center of the Moon. June looked at the General. The General looked at June for the first time they agreed on something. The General said "We must crash the ship" and reached for the self-destruct lever. The lever would not move because a silver hand had grabbed the Generals wrist.

“Then…what about it?!” “Forget about it!” Jack roared. “Alia! Start the ship! Marcus! Get Victor on board! Quick!” The group rushed onto the “Black Mary” in a disheveled state. Jack rushed to the anchor and slashed the thick mooring rope with his dagger! "Boom—" The cargo ship's engines roared deafeningly under Aria's (remote hacking) control. The ship slowly pulled away from the dock. On shore, the belated National Guard "puppet" soldiers and the swarming bounty hunters could only watch helplessly as the massive cargo ship, carrying the "walking immortality," disappeared into the vast night sea.
