Bloodhound Moon
Not if you’re ready.
By nightfall, the compound was restless again. Rumors spread faster than the wind: Moon-marked. Danger. Power unseen. The prophecy.
I wandered through the halls, unable to sleep, listening to the quiet murmur of the pack. The words reached me, snatched from hushed conversations.
“She is the one,” someone whispered.
“She carries the Moon’s blessing,” another said.
My wolf stirred, intrigued, tense. Let them talk. Let them fear. It will make them easier to control.
