Beneath the Winter Moon

Beneath the Winter Moon

Celeste leaned on her elbow, watching without comment, the haze of exhaustion making everything feel just a little warmer, a little closer. “You should get some rest before the morning crew shows up,” Victoria said eventually, her tone gentle. Celeste shook her head, slow and sleepy. “I don’t want to miss this.” And Victoria didn’t say anything else. She just kept drawing, and Celeste kept sipping, and the world stayed quiet around them. ** The fluorescent lights of the diner buzzed a little softer in the early morning hours. The sky outside was just beginning to lighten, washed in pale gray and hints of lavender. The streets were mostly empty, save for the distant hum of a city starting to

Chronicles Of One Night Stands

Chronicles Of One Night Stands

…But the morning was cruel. I groaned from sleep, as my eyes fluttered open, and I took in the sight of the mess the room was. The room still smelled of sex. The bed was a mess sheet damp, my body sore everywhere. The other side of the bed was empty. I thought he would be in the bathroom, and we might decide to not be a stranger after all, but that thought was cut short. My eyes landed on the note propped against the bed lamp. “Thank you. Last night was amazing. You were amazing. Bye, beautiful stranger.”

Moonlit Magic

Moonlit Magic

Soon. The café was quiet for a Friday night, the hum of the espresso machine the only sound cutting through the low murmur of late-night patrons. Nathan sat across from Elder Alice, his untouched coffee cooling between his palms. She watched him with knowing eyes, her silver-streaked braid draped over one shoulder, the beads woven into it clicking softly as she stirred her tea. He exhaled, fingers tightening around the stolen book in his lap. "Alice," he began, voice rough from lack of sleep. "I need to ask you about something."

Dumped at Noon, Settled by Night

Dumped at Noon, Settled by Night

"You'll always have the right to tell me to stop." When he lowered his lips to mine, I didn't flinch. Even when pain mingled with the pleasure and I lost my breath, he never hurried me like Giovanni would. He would stroke my back until I relaxed. Afterward, he cradled me in his arms. He gently combed my hair with his fingers. "Are you alright?" I nodded and burrowed against his chest. "Better than alright. I never knew it could actually be… good." … The next morning, I woke from a nightmare.

I don't like the leadingman the way the author fortrayed him. He is like an idiot who sorrounded by lier people and yet he never notice it? I wonder also why Noemi didn't bother to look for his father after she knows that Cayden is not his father, instead she chased the idiot Jack who

I'm really tired of reading this story. It feels like the people around Naomi are all stupid. Scot and his family lied time and time again but they still believed. The story doesn't seem to be moving forward. It's almost 300 chapters but the story seems to be repeated. Boring ...

The King's Brightest Star

The King's Brightest Star

Surn was mostly covered by water, a blue planet wrapped in a garland of pearly-white clouds. What little land there was dotted the water’s surface, small, irregularly-shaped islands. Ellis watched through the tiny porthole as the planet got closer, seeming to swell until it blocked the sight of everything else. Beside her, Logan was asleep, his head pillowed on her lap, his tail firmly wrapped around her leg. She tried to remain as still as possible because every time she moved, his eyes would fly open.

So why does this book deserve more than 5 stars? To start off, the story is refreshing, it is beautifully written! No wolf, no dragons or mafia’s and CEO’s that I honestly have grown tired of. So this is new and uniquely written and I have to commend the amazing ability of the author to(part1)

Midnight Lunar ( Journy to Alpha Kai )

Midnight Lunar ( Journy to Alpha Kai )

I don't waste another minute and zoom downstairs, I head straight for the cleaners quarters then to the warrior room, I can put my years of studying chemistry to good use now, I mix up the fruit of my spoils and head to the kitchen, I remember seeing a drink there with a note for the b*tch from the Luna, I search the bottom of the fridge and find left over food and dish out a plate then mixed my good stuff into it and set it on the warmer to help the good kush heat up and soak into the food, she won't know what hit her, I gulp down the juice and place the note on top of the plate knowing very well that no one would be crazy enough to touch it with the Luna's note on it I then skipped away an

After reading the prologue, I give this a 5-star rating. The author has successfully got my attention, albeit werewolves' stories are not my cup of tea. I can feel the love for the family of a father whose duty is to protect them all cost. Kudos!

I really enjoyed this continuation and I can’t wait to read the next book! I just have so many questions…also what of the King’s quadruplets!? Or perhaps there could be like a spin-off that can dive into the vampire side cause since the first book there has been no mention of Skaii’s sister!
