My howls turned more agonizing as I went into a bad place. And then, miraculously, the wolf stopped as his entire body came crashing down on top of me. I yelped from the impact of a grown man’s full weight hitting my body. Once I recovered, I opened my eyes to see Alex holding an entire bloodied vertebral column with his claws, clearly ripped from the wolf’s body. I instantly pushed the dead man off me and sprinted away as Alex threw the vertebrae away and held off the other three wolves, one of whom looked like he wouldn’t get too far as a bloody puddle formed under him and he eventually turned human, dropping to the ground.

I called my wolf. I felt a sudden gush of energy then my eyes color turned into a fiery red. My right hand morphed into claws and I slashes my left palm. I let my blood drop to Wilson's wounds. When my blood mixed with his wound, it started to heal and Wilson's breathing is getting normal. Just in a few moments, his strength will be back, I smiled before everything turns into black.

Kir growled as she walked over to Morph. "Move away little birdie." Kir chuckled as she pushed the smaller female aside. “What are you going to do?” Ari asked hesitantly. “Just watch.” Kir said with evident annoyance at the smaller female. Kir extended her fangs once more, bit down on her own wrist, and dripped her blood into Morph’s mouth. Results immediately occurred as Morph’s wound visibly healed within seconds, not even a scar was in its place, as though it was never there to begin with.

What amazes me most is his authoritative aura, demanding respect even from me. Similar to the previous morph, he suddenly collapses, falling quickly to the ground. There is a flash of light, and he becomes the incredibly sexy man he was before. Frightened, I take a step back, not looking where I'm going. Xavier, beautiful as he is, seems ethereal. Somehow, my brain refuses to believe that werewolves exist, and even though I'm now being given proof, it's still a lot to take in. It's almost too much for me to accept, no matter how true it is.

Lupo was surprised since he still could move and could still give very heavy punches and kicks that made his defense numb. "WHY ARE YOU STILL STANDING?!" Lupo roared in anger as his face was starting to be distorted into a half-shift form of a werewolf. "Oh, that? I healed." He sarcastically answered before giving him a roundhouse kick followed by an upper-cut punch to his chin. He stumbled from the impact yet still standing. "What are you saying?!" he growled madly. "Simple, I know what type of fallen rogue are you. And besides, I am not the person you need to deal with." Lupo looked confused at what Morbius told him.

“NOOOOOOOOO!!! ALEXIAAAAAAAA!!!” Lyon surfaced almost immediately. M then instantaneously merged-shift to his silver humanoid wolf’s huge, vicious, and dangerous form. His enraged roar filled the room, along with his monstrous werewolf body. “DAMN! HOLD HIM!” Vince yelled while Aaron and he shifted as well to try and control their pack’s Gamma while he tried his best to mindlink his agonized and enraged best friend. Ma’Heron, try to calm down, bro!

And Xavier's father—I still didn't know his name—was fighting like a man possessed, as if years of cowardice could be erased in a single violent stand. But there were too many of Victoria's wolves. We were going to lose. Xavier screamed, and the sound shattered into a howl that made the entire cavern shake. His body arched backward, and I felt the mate bond surge with power so intense it knocked me into the water. When I surfaced, Xavier was gone. In his place stood a wolf unlike anything I'd ever seen. He was massive—easily twice the size of a normal alpha. His fur was pure silver, shimmering like moonlight on water. His eyes were that same luminous silver, holding intelligence and madness

His form was certainly one-of-a-kind…and utterly terrifying. Contrary to the wolf shifters, his wolf form was not quadrupedal. It was a cross between a man and a wolf, making him walk upright using his two feet instead of four. His spine was morphed and extended to form his tail while his face became a canine muzzle with long jagged teeth. His black fur was sparsely distributed throughout his body, yet his face and neck featured a mane. And if this wasn’t enough, his mouth was foaming like a rabid beast with bloody red eyes staring at everyone.

It was Tyler Wolfe. He didn't look like a wolf anymore. He looked like a nightmare. His skin was translucent, showing the grey, stony substance of the Aegis serum beneath the surface. His eyes were a burning, fractured red. He was the ultimate New Breed, a perfect fusion of wolf DNA and human chemistry.
