Hold tight, will you?” He exchanged a quick look with Alice that she didn't know whether it was a request for permission or an apology, just a second before he moved the joystick, making a soft engine noise and he and Millie disappeared back towards her, the smaller wheels of his motorcycle sliding quickly. “Oh…” Millie’s mouth formed a perfect circle when they finally stopped “It’s just like a bumper car!” she looked at Massimo, impressed “It was really cool! Can we run again, please?”

“What’s your name?” He hesitates, like he’s deciding whether I’m allowed to know it. “Jude.” “Nice name,” I lie without blinking. The corner of his mouth twitches. Is that… a smile? I keep going. “So, Jude. This Reaper of yours. Your boss?” He tilts his head instead of answering. Then I see it. The motorcycle. My stomach tightens and I rub my wrist again. Motorbikes have always meant bad things for me. Broken doors. Raised voices. Leather jackets and fear. Last night, the alcohol made me brave. This morning, the nightmares reminded me who I really am.

He said. “First is Bacchus. His real name is George Miller, one of the gang leader’s right hand. Then Atlas, real name is Mario Ching. He is their intelligence. Minotaur, real name is Fred Lim. I went straight to the mall to meet up with Jon and we could fetch Aya and Kev after we buy food.
