Mount Olympus Mythology Novels & Stories

Zeus, of course, was the ruler of all the gods on Mount Olympus, the God of the Sky and Thunder. Oh, and a womanizer, but that wasn’t an official title back then. Mnemosyne was a Titan Goddess, the daughter of Gaia and Uranus – the earth and sky – and was the embodiment of both individual and collective memory, serving as the source of knowledge, truth, and intellectual inspiration. So thank you for that, I guess? The nine muses supposedly lived on Mount Helicon, where they devoted themselves to the inspirational art... Clearly, they didn’t! The muses loved to study and inspire people, yes! There were more than enough lore and legends around to support that. But they also liked to run around

It took years, years after the world was nothing but a little speck of dust in space, the population already diminished to a terrible rate that the gods answered. The Twelve Olympian gods namely Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo, Ares, Dionysus, Hermes, Hera, Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Demeter and Hestia, all came down from Mount Olympus, saying that the cries of their children had reached their ears and had come to help. They divided the world into two sections, the male and the female. When each gender was born, a tattoo showed on its skin. This tattoos were of two colours. We are standing in a freaking cave deep under the peaks of Mt. Olympus. It’s cold and dark and damp and somehow humid all at the same time. And it’s creepy as all hell. I know that’s a weird thing for a powerful goddess to say, but the caves under Mt. Olympus aren’t filled with the creepy crawlies from the human world. These things hold baby hydras, manticores, gorgons, and other nasties.

The Athenian-Roman alliance, born from the crucible of conflict, now stood as a testament to the resilience of civilizations willing to embrace change and transcend the echoes of their turbulent past. As Maximus stood triumphantly in the heart of Rome, having quelled the rebellion and secured the peace between Athens and Rome, a surprising twist unfolded. The Oracle, the same mysterious seer who had revealed the existence of Maximus' son, approached him with a solemn expression. How I wish I really belonged in this place. “Anyway, Ms. Patterson. Since we’re talking about it, you must be aware of the Seven Caste of Powers here in Olympus. I presume that you already have ideas about it?” She explained, going back to her formal and authoritative aura. She must have noticed that she’s taking off too much of her mask. “Yes, but not that much though,” I replied. The orientation went on and I must say that the more I get to know Olympus, the more I wanted to stay here.
