Mount Olympus Mythology Novels & Stories

he said suddenly. "Olympus?" Ariana echoed, puzzled. "The home of the gods," he explained softly. "Built in the sky to look down on the world." He paused, a knowing smile curling his lips. "They claim to stand at the highest point, don't they? Then I'll build one higher—above their heads." Ariana let the words roll in her mind, her eyes lighting up. "Olympus…" she murmured. "It's beautiful… and powerful."

I reply gawking at the magnificent wolf. “Go greet her.” He pushes me forward. “Paragon is the key to the resplendent, grand gate of Mount Olympus that protects the Gods. It’s our duty to protect her by word of my father, Hercules. Solicited into service by the Goddess Selene and the God Zeus. We are born with a sealed fate. Protect the gate or die trying.” Her copper eyes look around to see why everyone has gone quiet. I feel her confidence dip and a defensive wall build around her spirit. She takes a hesitant half a step back.

Olympia guided them to go back to bed and relax in a whisper. Olympia continues to give Olga her last instructions after making the decision to leave the Jewish family and tribe area. She learned that after the devastating world war between the Germanic Barbarian empire and the Mesopotamian empire, she agrees to be the servant and sex slave of the ruler and his firstborn son, who saved her from the enormous river in the north. After that, she lives with these tribes for the next thirty-five years, traveling through the river valley and the forbidden desert where the Jewish tribes migrated.

He got up from her body and sat on his knees, both on either side of her body. He looked divine, but not like Zeus, but like Hades like there was darkness in his body and soul. A strike of thunder shone through the room, illuminating his body, and now he looked like the Norse gods, so beautiful and dangerous. She had always been afraid of thunder, for she didn’t have parents to hug her to sleep when she was scared, but this thunder didn’t scare her as she was in the presence of more terrifying horror. HIM. A sound brought her attention back; he pulled the string of his sweatpants and tied her wrists to the headboard. “Don’t, please, anything but this,” she joined her hands on the headboard.

She summoned more packs swearing their loyalty to the Aletha wolf pack. “Get the prophet.” Clarissa ordered Adira who immediately did as she was told and went to get the prophet that had prophesied Valerie’s birth. “What is going on?” Clarissa asked the prophet who was already standing in front of her, in fear. The prophet laughed for a while before finally speaking. “Glory to the moon goddess.” He shouted. “The Prophecy is coming to pass.” He continued. “Rest assured Suprema, Valerie would be perfectly alright. She’s simply absorbing all of the powers meant for her....” The Prophet said.

They lose their wits and begin to babble, and tell the same story in many ways. Unlike other Olympians, she is never distracted from her duties. Her work is her pleasure, her profession, her power. She was born from a tragedy. When Saturn butchered his father, Uranus, with the scythe his mother had given him, he flung the dismembered body off Olympus into the sea, where it floated, spouting blood and foam which drifted, whitening in the sun.

I cry out, just as the mountain starts to walk, nearly hitting us with its solid grey mass of a shoulder. Hephaestus veers sharply to the right, nearly making me slip out of his arms. I double my efforts of holding onto him, by wrapping my hands in the fabric of his shirt—I don’t want to fall again. That had sucked the first time it happened, and I don’t need that kind of stress right now. Dumbfounded, we watch as the rocky and wooden giantess strides up toward Olympus. She’s obviously joining the battle. I feel bad for the Gods who have to fight her. I wonder which side she is on.

After he left, Lucjan’s face darkened, and he said coldly, “Since you’re unwilling to become my tool, only death awaits you.” James left and began ascending the mountain. Lucjan’s appearance was as he had expected. Lucjan’s looks made him realize that he was now a terrifying force to be reckoned with. Perhaps he had reached the level Callan was at during the Mount Thunder Conference—the second stair of the Skyward Stairway. “Let’s hope that there won’t be many Solean martial artists here. Otherwise, the conference will descend into chaos.” James sighed deeply. Mount Olympus was high. Standing at 13,000 meters above sea level, it was the third-highest mountain in the world.

I told him smiling and remembering that day. “You’re very own Mount Olympus.” Zeus said. “Huh?” I asked as I turned to Zeus. “It’s the perfect place for you to not only see everything but it also keeps you connected with nature. You’re up high enough that the winds and rains will touch you, the earth and trees are all fertile, the air is clear, I hear a stream nearby, and I can feel other beings around. Not just us. Were these the woods you got lost in?” Rhea said and asked.

Mount Olympus is a behemoth of a place. It is unaccessible to many since it is heavily guarded by Zeus’ creations a dragon and a leopard maintained the tight security of the place. Not everyone is welcomed here. It is a huge place and maybe two creatures cannot keep up with intruders but Zeus is not stupid. As an added measure of protection, the edges of the land was shielded with a force field that prevents humans or any other species to wander. And the skies are covered so the humans cannot track it with their technology.
