The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

That's why we have no choice but to brace the cold to see if we can run into them! Frank nodded in understanding. "Well, how'd you know that an entire group went off-trail?" The chief ranger replied, "I'm sure you know how cell signals fluctuate up here in the mountains. It just so happens that they attempted a distress call when they got a signal." Then, staring at Frank in uncertainty, he added, "The same goes for you, brother. The winds up here can get violent—you should get off the mountain yourself instead of going up." Frank chuckled. "I'm sure I'll be fine in your company! And I coincidentally happen to be a professional hiker too, so I won't have any issues with situations like this

The Dark Protector

It lays simply across my chest and over one shoulder leaving my arms free to collect what I find. I’ve been searching for an hour when I hear voices on the mountain below me. “Someone must be up there. There wouldn’t be a fire if there wasn’t someone up there.” A man’s voice says. “That doesn’t mean it’s a shifter.” Another voice says. “Who else is going to be out here, you idiot? No human could climb that mountain.” A third voice says. I crouch down, next to the tree I’m standing beside, listening. “That’s a good point. So, how do we get up there?” The first voice asks.

N.Savage
This is book number 2. It does not disappoint. There is no loss of momentum in this series. The characters continue to grow and evolve. Never a dull chapter. Cooper really did an excellent job setting up the series with places to go and more characters to introduce. Brilliant.

He couldn't help but feel small in the presence of such natural grandeur. The Swiss countryside called to him next, with its rolling green hills and charming villages. Blood Moon Twin Lovers

Blood Moon Twin Lovers

Silas hesitated, then admitted, "Sometimes. But there's a freedom here, a purity that’s hard to find in the hustle and bustle of city life. Every time I felt lost or overwhelmed, these mountains grounded me." The hike was grueling, testing the very limits of Raven’s endurance. With each step, she felt the strain in her muscles, the sting of sweat in her eyes, and yet there was an underlying thrill. As they trekked, Silas would occasionally pause to show Raven a herb or narrate the legend behind the haunting howls that echoed between the peaks. "Those aren’t just the songs of the wind," he said softly, "but the lamentations and jubilations of our ancestors, their stories carried forth on the

With a deep breath, Jo began to climb, reminding herself the trip down would be much faster. It didn’t take long to reach the top of the mountain, despite the snow that greeted them about halfway up, swirling down from the night sky and hitting them right in their faces as they grappled for hand grips on the nearly sheer surface. The rocks that were there bit into fingers and palms. Jo had on thick gloves, but that didn’t matter with some of the razor sharp rocks. By the time she pulled herself up to standing on the narrow surface at the top of the mountain, her gloves were more or less shredded, and both of her hands were bleeding.

The Last Mates

Xavier’s Pov I flew my helicopter as far as I could take it without crashing in these high hills. Then I landed it on Dovan, a small village on the mountain occupied by Sherpa. From there, I started my journey on foot to my destination. No, it wasn’t easy. The trail was like a roller coaster. You either go up or go down, making my journey descending as equally tired as ascending. The 300 m cliff on my right was not helping either. The path was narrow and if I ever stumbled even once then I would fall straight down to the river and I didn’t think anybody could survive this fall.

Whispers of Sikar

Whispers of Sikar

"A long time ago, before our people settled here in the mountains, the tribe of our ancestors was decimated by a horde of men who came from across the seas to the east, known for their crimson garments that struck fear into the hearts of all who saw them. It was a story our parents told us growing up. Have you really never heard it before?" "No," Adea muttered. "Our parents don't tell us many stories of our people's history." "I heard of a legend that says the other side of those mountains is a realm of the Spirits." Everyone turned their attention to Lyda as she spoke up. "It's said that the mountains cannot be traversed, so there are secret spots throughout these territories that may act a
