Mr. Crocker Novels & Stories

“Send me the contract details by email before our big ceremony.” He shrugged, still leaning there. I kept walking without looking back, pushing the big front door open and stepping outside. * I walked up to Dawson’s apartment door and knocked fast, heart still racing from the family meeting. When he opened it, I froze. His face looked really swollen, one eye almost shut, lip split, and he just stood there looking weird and broken. “Oh my God,” I said, stepping inside and shutting the door behind me. I leaned against the wall, crossing my arms tight, “are you going to address the elephant in the room?”

"At least, Jonathan Crocker's in good hands. He'll serve to teach the others." That is, of course, his shrewd idea of a reconciliatory conversation-starter. After pulling me out of my house in the unholy hours of the morning, to face gunmen and his devilish brother, all he has to tell me is "yeah, we got him good." I just nod and add, "Great sir."

Just when the two of them were having a conversation, an old and solemn voice came from behind. “Mr. Clifford ”. Kelvin turned around and saw a man in his early fifties, who was wearing a formal suit and leather shoes. Even though he looked old, his back was still firm. However, he seems to lack a bit of energy as his eyes sockets were deep and tired–he was sitting in a wheelchair while someone pushed him from the back. “Mr. Crowther”. The person who had arrived was Chloe's father–who was the president of Crowther Groups of company, Javier Crowther.

Brad cranes his neck, looking over at Nick, who's obliviously watching the previews, and then says to Beth, "Want some popcorn?" as if trying to divert her attention. It was sweet of him, I'll give him that. Unfortunately, it's pretty clear Beth's not the kind of girl who would notice. She's already too mad at everyone else to care.

In front of her, stood a handsome man with a firm face and a sturdy body looking at her while leaning on a shelf, his arms folded in front of his chest arrogantly. "Who are you?!" snapped Becky with a suspicious look. "You don't know who I am? I am James Miller! The richest man on earth!" he said with a big smile, showing the two deep dimples on his cheeks. Becky gulped, she remembered what Tim had said earlier, that she was brought there because of something about his father. "Whatever I don't care who you are, why did you bring me here?!" she snapped in annoyance. James Miller stepped forward and stood in front of her with his hands stucked into his trouser pockets.

Claire stated, not showing any expression. “I’m Mr. Mark Merriweather, former CEO of this great company. I’ve been demoted to acting CFO for the time being.” The sixty-year-old man proclaimed he had a full head of gray hair. He is thin for his age but gives a sharp business aura when around. He always has a serious expression; never a smile could be seen on his aging face.

I looked at his face and to my surprise, he was genuine this time. I would've definitely laughed if I heard this before but since the day September woke up in hospital, Zachary has changed. I witnessed how he took care of her and little Claire. He made them happy. After a very long, I saw September smiling once again. Be it her memory loss but she was happy and what else I can ask for? No. I don't trust Zachary but I am sure that if he says he loves her then he must do. After all he is Zachary Wilson; a cold blooded criminal. Why would he say anything about love if isn't in love?

However, one thing that I noticed about this individual was that he had many females lurking around him and they were all models. I knew that in the back of my mind, there is still this small voice stating that I could never beat a model when it comes to a man since they are paid for their looks whilst I'm not. However, I didn't get much time to think about this daunting idea that I still had as I was interrupted by my nan and a woman next to her who looked around the same age as my mother. "Nipotina dear, I would like you to meet Iris, she is the wife of Arron McKinley who you may know as the previous CEO of McKinley Enterprise." My Nan introduced this sweet lady to me, and I knew I recogni

"I do not want to sit. How is Tyler? Please tell me that he is going to be okay?" He looks at me rather concerned, and I know that there is something that he is not telling me. He seems half afraid in saying what he has come here to say. “Mrs. Moore, I am Doctor Michael Crane. Can I get you coffee?” "That will be nice, thank you." The tears start streaming from both our eyes like volcano's bursting. This is the most godawful day of my life. I can't believe that this is happening.

I groan internally. My name is Mariah Cruz. I'm 17 years old and starting my junior year today.
