Actually, I’m going to turn my experience into a lesson plan.” “Our captain will be more than glad to answer any questions you have about the boat,” Michael said. “Which reminds me…” He gestured for one of the servers to approach and whispered something into his ear. I eyed him quizzically, and he just smiled at me. Soon, the captain arrived, greeting everyone. She was a tall, thin woman who was about Michael’s age, and looked great in her captain’s uniform. “Captain Walters thinks I’ve forgotten, but I know today is her birthday,” Michael said, and the captain’s face went red.

Indeed, men would fear the captain even without his mask, but Isabelle wouldn’t allow the horror stories to make her cower. Someone nudged her arm, and she peeked at the person who had just come up next to her. Mrs. Winters, her companion, gave her a small nod. So relieved the older woman wasn’t dead, Isabelle wanted to throw her arms around her companion and cry, but before she could, Mrs. Winters cleared her throat, stepped closer to the captain, and aimed her gaze toward him.

No way is she a captain!” She just doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut. She dared to question Lucius. “Yes. She is a captain and you will give her the respect she deserves. Are we clear?” He asked her, as she scoffed.

“Either.” “Hmm. It’ll have to be a toss-up between…” “No, wait! I’ve got a better idea. Let me guess.” Terra peers closely at her like a card magician and Kate feels self-conscious. There could be crumbs of pie on her lips… “You were gonna say a toss-up between… Thor and Captain America!” “Whoa! How did you know that? And this was the second time I was seeing him today. Jason Myers. What was the captain of the hockey team doing here? In a place surrounded by such men? The fat man's face had instantly turned white. “Mr. Myers. I didn't know she had an affiliation with you.” He stammered, instantly letting go of my hair. Jason's eyes narrowed, “Now you do, and that hand…” his gaze zeroing on the man's hand.
