“Tami, just prop her with pillows, she’s not going to faint if she sits up a little.”
“Oh, I can do that!” Came a bright, cheerful voice from beside Nisha. A girl I didn’t recognize bounded up to help Tamsyn prop me with pillows since the snow-skinned woman refused to let me sit on my own.
“Emi, this is Adeline,” Tamsyn said, I raised my hand to wave at Adeline and noticed an IV had been run.
“Th-this is nnn-nnnn-new,” I commented as I tugged on the line. Tamsyn swatted my hand lightly as she said, “Don’t do that, you’ll pull it out and the doctor said you need at least one more day before you’re done.”
