Must Read Historical Novels Novels & Stories

Some of them read multiple times judging by the cracking of the binding. History. Military strategy. Economics. Law. Psychology. Philosophy. One entire shelf of biographies of powerful men across different centuries and continents. And then something that surprised me. Fiction. A whole section of it tucked into the far corner like something private. Novels. Some of them old enough that the titles had faded. I pulled one out carefully. A Russian novel. Thick. Dense. The kind of book that required patience and silence and the willingness to sit inside discomfort for extended periods.

"I borrowed it from the library. It's amazing how good that book is. The writer is crazy. I've been exploring different genres lately, though." I nodded, sensing a shared interest emerging. "I love exploring new genres. It's like entering different worlds without leaving the comfort of your room. But I’m going to stick with my sci-fi.” I said, it sounded like a joke and Brenda laughed about it. “Have you ever tried reading historical fiction? Echoes of Time is one of my favourites." Excitement danced in my eyes. “Yes, I've read that one too. The way it weaves history and fiction together is pretty good. Do you enjoy the historical aspects as much as the story itself?"

She will just make sure not to ask for a favor again. After breakfast she had with him, Althea went to the library to read a new book. This time she thought about picking a book about some of the powerful families in Westland which includes history of the royal family and Carter family as well. She doesn’t know why she was now so interested in their history, but since she is now this interested she doesn’t see herself going back. She loves reading books so she will regard it as reading a good novel. “This book is nice Baroness, you will surely get to know a lot,” Nina said.

Corinne nodded, ignored Anya's attitude, and walked over to peruse some of the books on the big bookshelf. She picked one at random and flipped through it. She then placed it back and took a different book. The books were all exceptionally well-written, rather than vapid literature that was bought to fill the shelves and make one seem well-read. Maxwell seemed to love reading a lot, much like many historical figures who were erudite but had rather despicable characters.

Sometimes, Beverly wonders why her father built such a large library, but as he knows, her late mother loved to read, and her father dedicated the huge library to her mother. "Hellions Of The Heasted Hall." Beverly muttered to herself. "Heasted Hall brats," he said again. Beverly took the six books that were deliberately put together. His gaze fixed on the titles written in the thick novel. "Historical Romance?" he asked himself. To be honest, Beverly prefers gun-smelling books to romance novels, but since she has already taken all the novels in the series, Beverly will read them.

People just exaggerate about the existence of these creatures until now, which would be just ridiculous if I were to be asked. I scanned through more books. Though I'm not an avid reader, seeing all these books in front of me, I couldn't help but want to read them all. They all seemed to hold some kind of history that I just feel interested in. This is a first for me, though because I prefer reading about celebrities rather than reading about some fairy tales and history which are not proven to be true. I was so immersed, going through the books, that I did not notice when someone stood behind me.

I also have Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, 2019,Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, 1813. And Seven Days in June by Tia Williams which was written two years ago then I also have love hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood which was also written two years ago”
