She glowers at me and kicks me with her good leg. "You got one thing right," Kadeem says. "Just because I'm out of the way, doesn't mean you're next in line. I have a dozen gammas stronger than you." His voice darkens. "Better liked." Bob's eyes narrow. His one asset is his political savvy - making deals like a salesman, worming his way to the rich and powerful, Winning Friends and Influencing People, like a very twisted Dale Carnegie. "Listen up," Bob snaps. "Your favor with the pack is crumbling as we speak." He takes on a dramatic tone, like he's a damsel in distress. "There's a vampire attack on the Weres and our fearless leader, Kadeem, is nowhere to be found!"

There is blood covering his teeth, giving him a menacing look. “Well- well, what do we have here? The girl with the scar. So, you are the one we have been looking for. They made you out like a monster, but you are a pretty little thing. I will let the boss know, as soon as I have had a taste of you first” he says flicking his tongue in and out of his mouth. The only thing I can focus on is that blood on his teeth.

Vampire inside; I was terrified that someone had spotted us. “What the hell did you do here? How do you know my place?” I punched him with a bunch of questions, screaming at him but in a low voice because I didn’t want anyone to hear both of us. “Get out before somebody spots you” I demanded. “No,” Mr. Vampire calmly replied. “You work in my company, it’s easy for me to find where you were” He declared. “What do you want, Levi?” I took a deep inhale; like it or not, we have to cooperate, no matter what, he’s my boss.

I might have a chance to get out. On the drive here, I noticed the road we were ambushed on looked… normal. Like nothing had ever happened. It almost feels like I imagined everything. Except for those golden eyes. “Vampires? Like, the kind that suck blood in movies and shit?” Gladis twists into a graceful spin, her ebony skin glimmering under the gold practice lights. “Why would I believe in that? Girl, it’s all fiction.” So… they don’t know. They have no idea their boss is a vampire.

I screamed. The boss is also delectable! This is completely ridiculous. Totally insane! Dazzling! And take note! The size, the fat, and the length! No wonder my boss has had many women he bedded for the past years. He is very greedy in the woman's flesh. 'It's good and not human flesh, but my boss is turning into a ghost.'
