"I like to add to the collection every once in a while for my own purposes, but the books that will be most useful to you have been here since I was born." I scanned the shelves until I found the first volume of the primers I learned to read the language form. I pulled the first primer from the shelf and handed it to him. “You’ll need to start here,” I told him. “Learning the alphabet first.” He took the book with so much reverence and awe in his eyes and cradled the book in his hands. His fingers brushed over the pages, tracing the unfamiliar letters.

It wasn't good someone should have a weakness, she knew my weakness was chocolate. "You can go back to sleep, it is nothing" I pecked him on his lips, "I'm going downstairs" I went out of the room with my phone. The one that I would use to sit around without doing nothing, I did ablution and pray (Tahajud). After I was done, I revised the Quran. There's something about the Quran; if you leave the Quran for a day, I mean you don't revise it. It will leave you for three days like that till you forget, you even memorize the Quran. May Allah not let me forget because the punishment for a person who memorized the Quran and forgets is great.

I didn't have a Quran in my house—Maybe Mum might've had it back home, but never before had I cared to check. Resorting to my phone, I typed down the words I remembered from just a few hours ago. I had kept repeating that same line to myself over and over again, until it had become a part of my long-term memory. Surah Ar-Rahman popped open and I clicked on the first video. The room resonated with the sound of the Qirat and breaking it was solely the sound of my sobs.

I was not only mesmerized by her character but now she is making me admire her more. I couldn't look away even if I wanted to because of the way she read the Quran. Her voice was the only thing that I could hear from her.

It seems like it's been long since they last use the library by how dusty it looked. My mouth forms a thin line this will be my resting place. Not knowing that by entering this room I've gotten myself into trouble. There are lot of books to choose from. My eyes catches one with the name 'The shy girl: A Muslim story' I flipped open the front page reading through, the book seems interesting. Keeping it aside, I scan through other books, coming across one with Jawad written boldly on the cover. it looked like a diary. Curiosity got me and I find myself turning over the first page Jawad mustafa written on the first page, my brows furrowed in confusion. Why is it jawad Mustafa instead of jawad A

I softly smiled at them and closed the door. With Frederick assisting Uncle, I was left alone to wander around the house, and what better way to kill the time than to read books. So, my main target was finding the library. After a few dead-ends, I finally found what I was looking for. There's no surprise, the library was huge as well. I trailed my hands on the hard-bound books. Novels, grimoires, Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson.

Which in English meant : The story of a dead woman. Dad was never one to read books so why would he keep a book that had a creepy title hidden inside his drawer? Curiosity got the best of me, making me pick up the book and sit down in Dad's office chair as I opened the book where I was immediately met by the first chapter.
