My name is Valentine Anderson." Unperturbed by his frosty demeanor, Mrs. Willow casually slid a series of photographs across the table. I stared at our image on the card, a storm of emotions rising in my chest. Aethelan gazed at me, his red eyes burning with a universe of emotion. "There was no 'Lovers' in my world," he whispered. Valentin holds the flowers in one hand and picks up a bloody card with the other. He opens it and reads the contents, and I freeze, because I wonder who it's from and I'm scared of what's written there. “I love you and I won't let you run away from the feeling out of fear” Valentin reads the sentence out loud, on purpose, attracting the attention of the curious. “I didn't know that what you felt for me was love, miss.”

I picked up the card with shaking hands and read the message written in elegant script. "You can never replace her. A Secret Admirer"
