Killing Game Quarter

Killing Game Quarter

Mia asked back, getting all of our attention, “I’m not that knowledgeable about how acid would affect your body, and I bet that none of you are either, so how are we supposed to know if it’s the cause of death or not?” “Well, we could make the assumption that it would be harmful to the body if swallowed, potentially burning and damaging innards, causing heavy internal bleeding, and-” Liam was immediately cut off from his logical thinking by Akira, who had her hands cupped together. “HEY, LOUDSPEAKER!” She shouted, getting all of our, including the Loudspeaker’s, attention. “Is there a problem?” They asked, almost as sarcastic as they usually sound. “Yeah, there is. If someone drank hydrochlo

He yelled, before walking out of my room. I wanted to wipe my tears but my hands hurt so bad. It felt as if they were on fire. So I just buried my eyes in my shoulder even though it did nothing to hide the tears on my face. Theo came back with a bowl of iced water. Without remorse he dip my hands in it causing me to cry harder. It hurt like hell. But maybe I deserved it. If he was going to kill me then he should at least make it less painful. "Theo whatever you do, please don't expose me to the media" I whisper-begged beginning to lose consciousness.

“I do. Please, Lisa. Just drink it.” For a long moment, Lisa just stared at him, her chest rising and falling with rapid breaths. Then, slowly, she reached out and took the glass from his hand. She hesitated for a moment, her eyes locking with his. “You’re doing this because you love me,” she whispered, her voice trembling. Ace nodded, his throat tight. “I am.” She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and then drank the water in one long gulp. Ace watched as she set the glass down, already feeling the guilt settling in his stomach. Lisa lay back down on the bed, her eyelids growing heavy as the drug began to take effect.

Becoming My Stepson's Wife

They had even joked that Hero had turned gay, seeing as he didn't like women and barely associated with them. "Sh...she's having an allergic reaction to something," he later answered when he saw the look Hero was giving him. Hero nodded but said nothing else. "I have given her an injection to help her sleep and heal_ By tomorrow, she should be okay," The doctor added. "Thank you, Ace," Hero told him without looking at him. Ace nodded. "It's nothing. I'll take my leave now," he said, giving Hero and Jules one last look, before ambling toward the door.

Oh, goddess. What a mess. I take a deep breath, cedar and fresh rain flood my nose- he smells delicious. I can feel my palms sweating, I go to wipe them and that's when I realize, I’m not wearing pants. Oh, goddess, I think I’m going to be sick. My throat burns as the acid comes rushing up. “Grayson, link the doctor please” I hear Alpha Zac say before the darkness is back. Old friend, we have to quit meeting like this….

Their story is catchy enough although I could call it another variation of an abused female finding her savior! Islas struggle and trauma had me empathize her. Zac, he is a hopeful romantic for his mate. I'd say it is well written and leaves you hanging a lot. Read it ...!

Really good read, good story line and character growth. The ending did seem a little rushed for me but it was nice to not have it dragged out over 200 chapters. Only a small amount of grammatical errors. Overall well done

Ace smirked as he ruffled his hair a bit, Runa loving the sight. “I’m not, I just wanna be with mommy.” He said but Runa could tell he was lying. She slightly nudged him and raised a brow, he only pouted. “Fine, daddy I’m not mad at you. I just don’t want anything to happen to Runa like before. I know GG says the demons are gone but what if.” He said with a sad expression. Ace and Runa exchanged glances before smiling at each other, “There’s nothing to worry about sweetheart. You fought off the bad dreams and you’re safe. As long as you’re safe nothing will happen to me.” She hugged him as she saw his tears threatening to come out.
