The Night Known As You

The Night Known As You

" Increase the magical capacity in a 50-range radius, the amount of bones there is more than enough to supply an unholy amount of magic, but from the looks of it was made out of the bones of women aged 50 to age 80." " Why? Is there some sort of effect using bones of those in that age range?" " Yes, the effect is unnatural wisdom. If it was the bones of a very young girl then the effect would be eternal youth." " .... Creepy. .... What do you think they are doing with the younger girls? Making a bone well as well?" " No, most likely something worse." V7 suddenly starts moving in my arms, he snuggles against my chest, then touches my chest as if it was an unfamiliar object. He sleepy opens hi

"I don't know if it's my imagination or not. But I want you to know that I can't save you" "You can. You're a witch hybrid. You can" He laughed. His mind is so good at playing pranks. "Witch? You say which?. You're so funny" "I know you won't believe me. But try" He groaned. "How?" "Get the nettle plant, mayweed, and rose flower" "Where can I get it from?"

That faithful moment that changed her and her sister’s life forever. Rie dried her face using the towel hanging on her shoulder and then walked out of the bathroom. She weakly sat down on the bed. She no longer knew what was happening. Rie was still drinking tea made of flax seeds every night. Flax seed was one of the major ingredients for a sleeping potion.

He would have attacked her from the beginning if he had really wanted to. Betty comes closer and sits beside him, placing her basket of herbs down, she was still cautious knowing that though his head was down,he could still attack her and if she wasn't fast enough to dodge, she could get hurt. She looked through the basket contemplating on what to do,she didn't exactly know much but she knew how to at least stop the bleeding, which was the major problem by using a herb called ‘Elizabeth’ and preventing the injury from getting infected. She placed her right hand on his black fur and was surprised to find out how soft it actually was,it was softer than it looked. She then marshes the herbs with a

The love between the hunter and the werewolf

The love between the hunter and the werewolf

On the stone bed, half of his handsome face revealed a clear red color. Jenny: "..." She was a little suspicious, put the wooden pot on the ground, walked two steps forward, and right after that on the stone table was crushed Jelly salt... Jenny: "...." She looked into the gray wolf's eyes with an expression that couldn't be put into words, then looked like she didn't react at all. Jenny sighed silently, going forward to bring the broken salt. Next to the broken Jelly salt block was a needle made of bone and small animal tendons made into a "thread", clearly used.

I mindlink Alpha Kizmet, I mean Dustin and showed him what I was seeing right at the moment and told him to send warriors to surround the area as quietly and quickly as they could and to bring a metal net or a net doused in willowby oil, willowby is a plant that all supernatural creatures where weak against in one way or the other so it was a sure way of catching the intruder. I watched as a mixture of guards along with my warriors surround the figure who is completely oblivious to what is going on, they watch and wait until the person is close to where they have the trap set up, the figure slowly makes their way towards the trap with their head still down and sprinkling the contents of the

One of my favourite stories Ive found. the storyline amazing, the characters especially having a strong female lead amazing and the humour made me laugh laugh out loud at times like a crazy person. Kudos to the author and her brilliant imagination. it does however need to be edited/proof read though
Angela Newkirk
this is a really good book! I wish the author would learn how to use punctuation correctly! and " marks make a big difference! she uses some weird brackets between their talking. That's one big long run-on sentence between everybody talking. sometimes it's hard to figure out who is actually talkin

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

“Well, in case no one has not noticed it yet, the wind was blowing in our direction and as you can see, Niccoli was having an allergic reaction. That is because this specific wind carries bone dust.” Audrey revealed. She never said anything about it and kept her mouth shut throughout the journey. But the truth was, she actually had been paying close attention to their surrounding. Nero warned her beforehand about the bone dust in the air and thankfully she was not as sensitive to it, unlike Niccoli. As soon as Nero mentioned the bone and dust, Audrey tried to be vigilant of their surrounding right away. But so far, she has not noticed anything weird yet. So she decided to keep her observatio

BOUND MOONLIGHT: The Alpha's Forbidden Mate

BOUND MOONLIGHT: The Alpha's Forbidden Mate

Something green on the surface and something darker underneath, earthy and deep. "What is it?" I asked. "Red raspberry leaf and nettle as the base. Iron absorption and uterine tone, both matter at this stage. Oat straw for your adrenals, which are working harder than they should be. Ginger for the nausea buffer, though you look like the worst of that has passed." She sat across from me, one knee drawn up, entirely comfortable. "Lion's mane for neurological support. Small amount of ashwagandha, modified for your situation."

She Left His Pack and Found Her Purpose

She Left His Pack and Found Her Purpose

Kael flinched as the silver storm of bones circled me. The violet veins on his neck pulsed with a frantic, irregular rhythm. He reached out to grab me, his fingers clawing at the air, but the shards of ancestral bone acted like a barrier. Every time his skin brushed the silver light, a hiss of steam erupted, smelling of burnt hair and old prayers.

Claimed by the Wolf King of Another World

He didn’t answer. Me? I sat there clutching honey tea, wondering if safety in Nytherra was real—or just another kind of cage. Elena coaxed me deeper into the cottage later, showing shelves carved with sigils and jars labeled in looping script. I touched one filled with glowing petals. “Moonblossom,” she said. “For courage. Or for sleeping without dreams.” Another jar, thin silver dust. “Ground starstone. For truth.” It smelled sharp, like lightning after rain.

Frequently Asked Questions

The first thing that struck me about 'Nettle & Bone' was how it weaves together themes of resilience and unconventional heroism. The protagonist isn’t your typical chosen one; she’s messy, flawed, and driven by raw determination rather than destiny. The book digs deep into the idea of carving your own path, even when the world expects you to fail. It’s a story about defying expectations—whether it’s societal pressures or the limitations others place on you. The way magic is portrayed feels almost feral, like it’s something you claw out of the earth rather than inherit gracefully.

Another layer that fascinated me was the exploration of found family. The bonds formed between the characters aren’t neat or easy; they’re forged through shared hardship and mutual desperation. There’s a gritty warmth to their interactions that contrasts beautifully with the dark fairy-tale tone. And speaking of fairy tales, the book subverts classic tropes in a way that feels fresh—no knights in shining armor here, just people stitching together their own kind of salvation. The theme of 'making things right' resonates throughout, even when 'right' is messy and imperfect.
