Victor hated me with everything he could muster. One day, he walked straight up to me and pointed in my face, yelling, "Was it you? Did you do all this so Chloe would grab onto me? You ruined me! I won't let you get away with this!" I shrugged. "Wasn't this your own trick? How does it feel now that it has been used on you? Happy?" My words sent Victor into a fury. In a fit of rage, he pulled a knife from his waistband and lunged at me. "If I can't live well, neither can you! Let's die together!"

Alaric stood at the edge of the field, arms crossed. His gaze swept over every pair of fighters with cold precision. When he wasn't speaking, his entire presence radiated the kind of Alpha dominance that made everyone tense on instinct. This was Alaric. The hero of the entire werewolf world. The legendary Alpha who'd risen to godlike status in the Vampire War. Every pack revered him. Every enemy retreated at the sound of his name. But my second look landed on his arm. Alaric wore a long-sleeved training shirt. When he raised his right hand to adjust a warrior's stance, his sleeve shifted slightly, revealing a small patch of skin on the inside of his forearm.

‘START!’ There’s not even a countdown. “LEVEL ONE.” The system informs. A humanoid figure appeared. Judging its distance, it seems to be around 80m away. But his weapon surprised me. Though it’s a rough image, I can tell it is a large sword. Now then. It says level one. Though it says level one, is it weak? Time to test it out. BANG! ‘HEADSHOT.’ A screen displayed above the hologram that was shot.

A Black Mercedes EQS stopped right next to the Jet. A tall Korean man got up from the driver seat. He smiled brightly at Stephanie and soon, Stephanie released her hand from Luke’s, and walked toward Yoan. “I miss you!” She said to Yoan “Finally I can see you again! I miss you more than anything….” “I thought you'd come alone, but who is him?” Yoan asked “Oh, he is Lucas Miller, my business partner. It just happens that we have similar travel schedules.”

Ascending to the top of Cold Mountain, they encountered the Wetland warriors, led by Alpha Jefferson. Tommy's group, including Jenna, was bound to a tree, visibly injured and bloodied. He thought. He laughed out loud after reading an amusing tweet on Twitter, one of the social media platforms. "OMG! Do superheroes exist in this county? If yes, that will be interesting, since we now have people like him to rely on, whenever an insurgency happens." The user tweeted. He wondered how others would view him, in light of what had happened. He was still on the thought when his phone beeped to notify him that he had a new W******p message. He opened the noticification icon and saw that it was a message from Brian.

Only, when he locates her, it wasn't the image he was expecting as he watched her hold her gold gun in the air, pointing straight at him. But, it wasn't at him. It was at Veronica and Lucas realised that when the deafening bang of the gun sounded and a heavy weight fell on him. He couldn't help but hope that it was a silver bullet. Straight after however, he watched his Ava faint into the arms of her supposed father.

“She kidnapped me. She tried to kill me so why should I let her go? Surprising talk coming from you.” “She won’t get far,” Zahra said, still with her hood on. “What's with all the mysteriousness that you've got going on? The hood and all?” I asked her. She slipped it off her head and gave me a cheeky smile. “I just wanted to be like those heroes in movies.” I just shook my head at her. “Do you have any water on you?” She nodded and three me a bottle. I sat down on the floor and chugged it all up, feeling refreshed soon after.

“You think you’re the hero, don’t you? But heroes don’t win, Victor. I do.” He lunged forward; the knife aimed directly at Victor. A gunshot rang out, the sound loud in the small cabin. For a moment, time seemed to freeze. Leo stumbled, clutching his side, but his knife didn’t fall. Olivia screamed as Victor took a step forward, his finger tightening on the trigger again.
