Love Against All Odds
I whispered brokenly, against his mouth, with the tension beginning to coil inside me unbearably tight, I said, quietly, huskily, through the quivering lips, "I love you, husband."
He opened his eyes and looked into mine, dark and burning. "I love you as well, my wife."
And, with one last thundering groan and thrust, he came inside of me, and I came along as we shattered screaming one another's name out.
"I know you do," I tell him with a chuckle, "So, when are you taking me on that bought date of your, husband? I must say, you really did put on a show over there?"
